The carriages were everything we had expected. Lyndall was very helpful and at check in then left us alone. The property was very well appointed and spotlessly clean. The outdoor spa was the highlight of our stay. The accommodation was well away from the main house ensuring complete privacy and quiet. Just the spot to unwind together. Debbie and Dave
Fantastic place to stay. Quiet and relaxing. Love the refurbished train carriages which added a point of difference to the norm. Highly recommended for a kid free weekend
Both Sandra and I really enjoyed the accommodation and location.
The train was a great place to stay and exceeded our expectations.
Thank you to Lyndall for all your help.

Amazing experience in unique accommodation and picturesque setting
Such a beautiful experience staying in the Carriage's Spa. A stunning restoration of the old train carriages with an eye for detail into everything a guest would need for their stay. Very clean, comfortable and the host was very helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Meticulously restored trains which was extremely comfortable set in a beautiful location. Wonderful spa and lovely host who was most helpful. Such a fun experience.
Spent 2 nights at the train and it was beautiful. Everything was high quality and would definitely recommend staying there for anyone wanting to celebrate a special occassion. Lyndall was a great host and nothing was too much trouble.
Beautifully restored accommodation in relaxing surrounds
A wonderful location to sit back and relax. The carriages have been lovingly restored. The spa was relaxing and the fruit bread delicious. Two nights was not enough!
Excellent out of the ordinary experience. The accomodation is first class, superbly renovated rail carriages arranged as living, kitchen and sleeping areas, with a private spa alongside and set in a gorgeous vineyard this is the perfect romantic retreat.
Attention to detail is evident, from the loving restoration of the train to the well appointed kitchen and luxurious hot tub, everything is First Class. Nothing better than to dine in front of the vineyard, relax in the hot tub by the pond and sleep on the train.
The train carriages are immaculate with every attention to detail covered. Such a comfortable quiet place to stay. Loved our time there and it wasn't long enough.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. What a treat to stay in such a unique property that has been so lovingly restored with such incredible attention to detail. In terms of comfort, for us, the best part was the comfortable bed, having come from a week at a property where the bed was rock hard and our hips were in agony, we really appreciated the comfort of the bed. One suggestion for the owners would be to always make up two of the bedrooms, even if only 2 people book the property. We are at an age where insomnia and overheating affect us, so we always book a property with 2 rooms so that if need be one can move to the other room to get a good nights sleep. Plus due to the wonderful uniqueness of the train, one side of the bed near the window is much harder to navigate in and out of, so a second made up bed would have been wonderful. Must mention the fruit loaf bread left for our breakfast - oh so yummy. Suggestion to guests is to cut each slice in half so that it fits in the toaster. Yummy.
What a stunning property and the owners are the best hosts - providing everything you could need as well as giving you all the privacy you could desire. Highly recommended
So relaxing to stay here in the beautifully converted train carriages. Very well equipped with everything you need. Air conditioning was a real bonus in all areas as we scored a couple of really hot days. The spa was a lovely touch. So nice to relax on the deck and watch the sunset. Lots of native birds in the trees. David and Lyndall were lovely people, excellent communication. Overall 5 stars without a doubt. Would definitely return. I could see it would be nice to stay in any season.
From the lovely detail of the restored carriages, to the sunrise over the vineyard and sunset over the haystacks thus property was the perfect getaway. We really did not want leave after 4 days. Lyndall was a dream to communicate with and her home made fruit bread was the perfect breakfast. Thoroughly recommend!
Had a wonderful getaway here for a couple of days, beautiful private spot and Lyndall was an exceptional host. The carriages are beautifully restored and a lot of attention to detail has clearly gone into restoring them. Thanks again and we would love to come back!

An amazing and unique accommodation.
What an amazing and unique experience staying in two 1920-1930s train carriages was. The carriages have been beautifully restored with all the modern amenities that you need that create a comfortable experience while still feeling like you are staying in another era. You can get lost in it and at times it does feel like you are traveling on a train. The two carriages are undercover which is a nice touch and sitting on the chairs on the spacious deck watching nature go by was very therapeutic and the spa was very relaxing. Having the animals on the property really allowed us to get back to nature and the mountain bikes were a lot of fun. We were lucky enough to experience quite a bit of heavy rain which only added to the experience.
Echuca is an interesting location in itself with the Murray River providing the border of Victoria and New South Wales so its definitely worth exploring at least once.
Lyndall and David have done a really great job with the property and Lyndall is an excellent responsive host. You won't be dissapointed.

Perfect peace
What a magnificent getaway! We had planned to do a couple of day trips into Echuca and surrounds over our Easter break. Instead, we parked the car Good Friday afternoon and didn't move from the property until check out on Easter Monday. We had all we needed right there in such an idyllic setting...beautifully appointed and cleverly restored accommodation, thoughtful and tasty breakfast provisions (Lyndall's homemade fruit loaf was way better than our specialty hot cross buns), and a vineyard full of ewes and newborn lambs. We couldn't move from the station platform verandah...except to soak in the spa.
Love, love, LOVED every minute. Thank you Lyndall and David. Sorry we didn't make it to the cellar door...next time!

Fabulous property - exceptionally well appointed and relaxing!
What can I say! Lyndall's place is fabulous - magnificent train carriages renovated with a great attention to detail. Loved the wood, the basin and the old signs. So too, there is an excellent spa with uplit vines nearby, shower, deck, and a kitchen that I'd kill to have at home. Thoughtful touches such as extra towels, plastic wine glasses for the spa, and a delicious breakfast. The beds are comfortable - we both slept really well.
Lovely to be amongst the vines, near a dam, appreciated the metal art about the place, and the animals. An added bonus was that we could purchase wine and pistachio nuts when we were leaving.
Very friendly hosts. Thanks again to Lyndall and family.
