I asked him to return my money and cancel my reservation; in response, he called the police because I refused to leave the cash deposit without a receipt. He then charged me for the room, even though I had cancelled the reservation on the spot because he was being completely rude."

"This hotel is in such poor condition! The amenities weren't working. Both the pool and the elevator were out of service. Our bedding had cigarette holes, and the hallway carpets were soiled filthy. And we even saw a roach in our room."

Carpet in room looked dirty simply because of the color, and it was actually dirty based on the bottoms of our socks. Mini fridge wasn’t even plugged in when we got there. Bathroom was big, towels were decent too. Breakfast room was crowded with truckers at 6:15- only annoying because Expedia touted this as a family hotel, but it clearly is not. We only grabbed muffins and juice to go. Woman at desk upon checkout was not friendly. "
