The house was as advertised! it was secluded and quiet and the kitchen came fully appointed with pots, pans, utensils, plates, silverware, you name it. We cooked all our meals at the house and had everything we needed. Thank you Susan for letting us stay in your peaceful, mountain cabin."

The initial drive to the property off the main road seemed a never-ending series of hills, twists and turns, especially for folks from the city. But, in fact, the trip in/out was only about five minutes. The property itself was great. A two bedroom, one bath on the lower level of a lovely private home. The house is on a hill so we could drive right to our entrance in back. The unit is all on one floor with no steps...

We cooked many of our meals, so this was appreciated (there's a limited number of restaurants in the area, but we like to cook). Communication with the owner was very easy and good."

"This little housse is like a very good cabin. 2 private bedrooms with one shared bath. Very tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed for a good stay. New appliances and heating system, back deck has wonderful private view of the woods. Very quiet and restful, yet right in the middle of Staunton. All amenities were minutes from the house. Very clean and had a very interesting history to the house. Yet great modern renovation. Would definitely visit again. The host even left wine for us...

"The Crash Pad was perfect for our group of 3! The decor is super cute and it was clean and very comfortable. Blue Mountain Brewery is right around the corner so we listened to live music and ate outside before coming home and unwinding in the hot tub, which looks brand new! There are so many wineries and breweries close to The Crash Pad. It's in a fantastic location for a wine tour. :) We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for your family or small group of friends!"

They have thought of everything one would need for a delightful get away. If you forgot anything, just ask and they are sure to help one way or another. The Fresh eggs, courtesy of their chickens, were a treat and the farm animals are such fun…esp Posy, Zoey and Hemingway. We hope to return soon for a longer retreat! Thank you...

"We gathered here for a winter weekend with family. This is a spacious unit with plenty of room for gathering as well as personal space for all guests. Excellent communication with the owner who was welcoming and supportive throughout the stay. This was the perfect location for access to slopes for skiing and tubing or just relaxing and enjoying the gorgeous back porch mountain views."
