I was worried initially about staying due to some of the reviews, but I have to say my experience has been exceptional. I took my girlfriend away for her birthday and it was perfect for what I was looking for. Great price, lovely spacious room, own bathroom and shared kitchen facilities. Checking in was so easy as host waited up for us even after our flight was delayed and showed us around the accommodation. Great balcony with lovely views of surrounding area. Train to central Rome is a 20 minute walk away, so easy and in a nice village. There is a lovely lake (Castel Gandolfo) nearby which is stunning, only a 15 euro taxi.
Missed the last train home from central Rome, but it was a 55 euro taxi which isn’t cheap but split between two is quite manageable. Overall had a very pleasant time, bed was comfy, room was large good kitchen and shower facilities, all at great value for money and within easy reach of central Rome and only 20 minutes by taxi from Rome Campiano airport. If you don’t mind getting the train into Rome would definitely recommend!
