Extremely helpful staff - especially the manager Marika. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and have large balconies which is a bonus especially in the warmer months. Breakfast was very good value.

Definitely would come back again

The staff are very helpful and friendly. Suggestions for dining were excellent, especially the Vecchia Osteria Del Gelsomino. The rooms were recently remodeled, the rooms are kept very clean by the staff, and the breakfast is more than adequate.

The only reason I couldn’t give a five star is the location. It is located in a residential area and difficult to find. It is over 2 miles from City center and ee walked it a couple of times, but the heat and humidity made it difficult. We had a couple of taxis turn us down due to location. On 2 occasions we had taxis let us out elsewhere because they couldn’t find the hotel. Other than that, the hotel was lovely. The room was nice and the staff was helpful. No English television, but it was fun to watch Get Smart in Italian!

Never again… very unhappy guests

We didn’t realized that we booked a Guest House. The manager was friendly but very strict with what we can do and how we should act during our stay. We felt unwelcome and like 2nd class citizens, that they watched our every moves. There were so many rules and restrictions. The front desk agent needs training with customer service skills. The property is clean and newly renovated but lacking amenities - like refrigerator, toilet papers are limited to 2 rolls per day so bring your own supply. I think the property used to be a convent and that’s how it felt during our stay.

Très bien

Hotel facile a trouver, le personnel était sympathique. Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. Les lits sont un peu petits, et l'isolation pas top, proche d'une grande route bruyante. L'emplacement est prochz du vatican (20min a pied), plus loin de tout le reste mais l'arrêt de bus est a 2min a pied .

Mein Zimmer war sauber. Nichts abgenutzt. Mit Balkon. Zur ruhigeren Seite. Kein Teppichboden. Bus 46 und 49 nur 80 mtr. um die Ecke, allerdings Fahrtzeiten nicht planbar. Dafür Metrostation via Aurelia nur 8 Minuten fussläufig erreichbar. Da befindet sich grosses Einkaufszentrum Aura mit McDonalds. Lage fand ich somit gut. Nicht direkt im Stadtzentrum. Unweit des Vatikan. Kleiner Garten vor Eingang. Frühstück viel italienisches Süssgebäck, eine Sorte Salami und Schinken sowie Käse. Keine Brötchen, lediglich Baguett aufgeschnitten. Rührei mit Speck und hartgekochtes Ei. 4 Müslisorten. Matratzen waren gut. Bad sauber, ausreichend Platz mit Sitzhocker und ohne jegliche Schimmelspuren. Handtücher werden jeden 3. Tag gewechselt, sonst 10 € Extrakosten. Zusätzlich zum Schlüssel gibt es einen Zahlenzusatzcode für den Eingang.

Struttura davvero accogliente, pulita e controllata sotto ogni punto di vista. Personale super qualificato, direttrice simpaticissima. Una pulizia che supera le aspettative. Nel compenso, posso dire di essere super soddisfatto della mia scelta nel venire a Villa Angeli. Per un prossimo soggiorno a Roma prenoterò nuovamente qui.
