Poorly monitored hotel descriptions

We knew the moment we drove up to the hotel that this was a disaster. The state of the outside told you to prepare yourself and we were right. Having refuse the junior suite we had booked the other room we were shown was even worse. Fortunately the staff were good and a telephone call to the manager agreed that our reservation would be cancelled without penalty, which was good as we had booked 4 nights! However finding something else at 1700 hrs on a Friday night proved very stressful! The hotel descriptions advertised online sites really do need to be researched thoroughly and we will certainly be doing so in the future.

Great service, near airport

Just needed a hotel close to airport. The desk manager met me for a late check in and then ensured that I had a taxi early the next morning to the airport. Appreciated the service a lot. Would not hesitate to stay again.

良いところ-近くに競馬場あるため競走馬にちなんだ内装が施されている。レストランは著名人も来る有名店。 悪いところ-壁が薄いので隣の声丸聞こえ。朝食はイタリア風の菓子パンのみ。部屋の1階はリビングと階段登るとベットルームだがトイレは下なので注意要。

Good for Rock in Roma

We stayed there for a night as was walking distance to the Rock in Roma. It was perfect for that night, yes hotel rooms had seen better days, and surrounding area not great, but it fitted our purpose and would recommend for the Rock in Roma concert.

Nous avions pris cet hôtel car il se situe tout près de l'Hippodromo Capanella pour voir un concert. Les photos et le descriptif étaient alléchants. Grosse déception! L'état général est déplorable, le personnel ne parle qu'italien. La fameuse suite à 700€ est une chambre mezzanine en sous-sol. Les photos du site sont trompeuses. A éviter absolument. Mieux vaut aller à Rome en taxi.

Hotel convenient for a late flight to Ciampino air

We arrived late from Ciampino airport,and the receptionist very kindly waited for us,before closing for the night.A lovely room,with air con.,and a good bed gave us a good nights' sleep.Although situated on the main road in to Rome,the room had excellent soundproofing,and a magical view of the old roman aquaducts!

Business Trip to Rome

This hotel is right across from the Capannelle Racecourse Rome, and about a 15 minute drive from Ciampino Airport. Fantastic dinner in the on-site restaurant with very attentive waiting staff. The staff throughout the stay were incredibly polite and helpful. The rooms were well serviced and clean.

Handy for Ciampino Airport

Although the hotel does not look much from the outside, inside it was clean and comfortable. Had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant with very helpful waiter. Breakfast was just a small coffee and very sweet croissant!

Unfortunately we could not stay there

The hotel management did try to accommodate us with giving us different rooms to try but unfortunately their heating system in the entire building lets off a terrible high pitch noise that is painful to my ears, there was so much electricity flowing thru all their rooms it actually made me ill, yes I am very sensitive to this and it would not bother everyone but it's very unhealthy.

Ottimo anche se molto breve, gentilissima l'aereo a che ci ha ricevuto, ci ha fatto anche lasciare la macchina nel parcheggio per i giorni che eravamo fuori, ma la cosa che ci ha sorpreso e stata la camera con un grande soppalco, molto calda ed accogliente, solo il bagno e un po' piccolo per il resto tutto ok torneremo

Great location for Ciampino Airport

We arrived very late in the evening. We were disappointed that we didn't get the opportunity to use the restaurant as it looked really inviting. Whilst the room was a little tired looking the bed linen was excellant in cleanliness and also really comfy. We would definately use the hotel again.

Hotels.com is getting lame.

When we booked this hotel we booked to ensure proximity to the city center since it was the weekend and we wanted to go clubbing. We searched for hotels in ¨Rome¨and came up with the Loczanda delle Corse Rome 1.8 mi to city centre¨: Not sure what city center but it´s actually like 15 miles from Rome itself. Very nice hotel the room was one of the best since we started travelling. The restaurant is ok and the staff was super.

Rustikt og godt indrettet

Skønt sted, men hvis man ikke har bil, skal man være indstillet på at gå ca. 20-25 minutter hen til bus/tog, som til gengæld kører ofte ind til Rom centrum. Vejen derhen og iøvrigt lige uden for hotellet er meget trafikeret.

Close to airport

Would recommend this hotel convenient to airport and only bus and metro ride into Rome centre. Hotel and restaurant staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. Ate in the restaurant both breakfast and evening meal very good. Definitely will stay there again. Another good point was the free parking.

Gezellig hotel met uitstekende service

Netjes en verzorgd. Iets buiten de stad van Rome. Goed te doen met de auto. Ontbijt is niet bijzonder. Je kunt beter in de stad eten.

Außerhalb von Rom gelegenes jedoch sehr gemütliches und freundliches Hotel

Das Hotel ist ein umgebautes Pferdegestüt, was man in den Zimmern noch leicht erahnen kann aufgrund der Querbalken und der Höhe der Räume. Trotz direkter Straßenlage ist es sehr ruhig im Hotel und die Fenster sind gut isoliert. Die Zimmer gehen alle über zwei Etagen, sodass der Schlafbereich vom restlichen Bereich getrennt ist. Sie sind sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und werden jeden Tag komplett gereinigt. Das Frühstück lässt ein bisschen zu wünschen übrig, aber das ist wohl üblich für italienische Verhältnisse. Das eigene Restaurant ist dafür jedoch ungeschlagen. Wirklich lecker und auch recht günstig. Nur die Kommunikation ist manchmal etwas schwierig, da nicht jeder dort gut englisch spricht. Etwas schade ist die Entfernung zum Hauptbahnhof Termini, von dem man alle Sehenwürdigkeiten gut erreichen kann. Man muss ca 1,5km vom Bahnhof Capanelle laufen, direkt an einer stark befahrenen Straße, was mit vollem Gepäck etwas schwierig sein könnte. Doch alem in allem hat es uns dort sehr gut gefallen, wir wurden herzlich versorgt und konnten uns dort gut von unseren Ausflügen erholen.
