Follow the directions. The hotel is kind of hidden. It is on the 5th floor of the building, with a old style SMALL elevator. Might take you a few trips if you have lots of luggage, but not a big deal. Elevator is smooth. Once upstairs, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and well-maintained. Note - there is NO early check-in. So plan accordingly. Staff may be able to accommodate, but not guaranteed. I would 100% recommend this hotel. Very close to many attractions, but not too close, if you know what I mean.

The hotel had a great location close to the Colosseum. It was very walkable and close to public transportation if need be. The staff was friendly and helpful for all of our questions and needs. The staff also was accommodating when we arrived early and held our bags so we could explore the city of Rome. Hotel is well maintained.

We really liked it. The AC was nice and cold. The water was nice and hot. It was quiet and clean. It is in a very convenient location, literally around the corner from a metro station. Lots of restaurants, and a few supermarkets (next door). The staff was very nice and friendly. We would gladly stay again.

Great place, excellent and friendly staff! Breakfast is great to start your day. Washrooms can be little better but overall had a good experience. The Hotel Astoria in Vico Equense was the perfect place to stay. The hotel is cozy, welcoming, and in an excellent location. It’s right next to the train station, making it easy to travel to Sorrento and explore the surrounding area. The hotel has a beautiful view and a lovely terrace where you can sit, relax, and enjoy the scenery. You can also walk around town and find plenty of excellent restaurants just minutes away. The staff was incredibly friendly, and our room was spotless throughout our stay. The daily breakfast was also very good and offered a nice variety to start the day. We decided to rent a small car from the rental agency right next door, and we were able to park behind the hotel for only €10 per night, which was very convenient. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and were able to explore the entire Amalfi Coast from this great location. We would definitely stay here again!

I try to be as fair as possible in my reviews. This is an older hotel in a good location, close to many of Rome’s main attractions. Like many areas around a major train station, the surroundings are a bit less charming than some other neighborhoods in Rome, but I never felt unsafe. The room was spacious, and the air conditioning was excellent, which is essential during the Roman summer. Overall, the room was very clean. The only issue I noticed was that the toilet could have been cleaned more thoroughly, so I’m giving four stars instead of five for cleanliness. Everything else was very good, especially the staff. They were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. They deserve six stars. Thank you!

The location was extreme convenient next to the Vittorio Emanuele metro stations on the A line (one stop on the a line towards Anagnina). The neighborhood seemed a lot more local than touristy so it was nice to have a bit more of an authentic experience. It would be about a 20-30 minute walk to the colosseum, pantheon or Trevi fountain, but you can walk through a ton of different streets and see how Romans actually live. The staff were extremely friendly and incredibly helpful every day. They gave advice on what to see and were knowledgeable about what to do around the area. Breakfast was good, it was nice to have on the first day as I got my bearings and started seeing what was in town instead. I wanted a hotel and NOT an Airbnb/apartment, so I was happy to find this. The front desk was staffed 24/7. It’s inside of an apartment building on two floors and has a super cute elevator that you need to open the doors yourself (hotel reception is on the 5th floor - and Americans, the ground floor is 0 😜). The room was pretty spacious; I had a room for three even though I was solo. I could only find one outlet in the room though but there was AC! Housekeeping was performed every day. I really enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again on my next visit. I recommend.
