Excellent location. We walked everywhere! We taxied to the Vatican but walked back! We were that close! We were able to do this thanks to the wonderful staff manning the desk. They helped us locate great restaurants and gave us maps and directions to every place we wanted to go. We booked our excursions through them and wished we had booked our car service through them. We would have saved money. Breakfast was the best meal! It was fresh and delicious. Start each day with espresso, cappuccino, or coffee latte, made by the friendly ladies who greeted us each morning. I miss the staff. We stayed in an historic building in the center of historic Rome and enjoyed modern convinces of free wi fi and elevators. Near a market! We recommend this place to everyone.

Great hotel in the middle of Rome's sights

Lovely hotel in a great location, easy walking to lots of major sights. In the middle of a really good shopping/eating area but still managed to be quiet. Big room and bathroom, very clean and comfortable. Wonderful views from the breakfast room on the 5th floor. Very helpful staff . Loved our stay, would definitely come back .

O hotel tem uma localização excelente, próximo de vários locais de interesse e com o metro da praça de Espanha a pouca distância. Quarto e casa de banho confortáveis. The breakfast was terrible I couldn’t even finish the breakfast of the first day so surely enough I didn’t go the next 3 days. I asked for an iron they said they didn’t have one because of a fire the occurred months ago which I thought was weird. The staff was friendly tho and room and bathroom were spacious although the bed was so uncomfortable. It was close to the station and a good location for transportation.

3 günlük bir turistik seyahat için bu oteli tercih ettik. Yeri çok Merkezi , İspanyol merdivenlerine birkaç adımda ulaşıyorsunuz. Gerek resepsiyonist gerekse kahvaltı bölümündeki çalışanlar hem güleryüzlü hemde yardımseverdi. Odalar çok yeni değil ama çok temiz ve kullanışlı. Yatak veya ekipmandan hiç bir sıkıntımız olmadı. Bir de biz 3 kişi olduğumuz için bize verilen oda çok güzel ve geniş idi. Resimde gördüğümüz ve satın aldığımız odanın daha güzelini verdiler. Kahvaltı çok fazla çeşit beklentiniz varsa öyle değil, ama ancak peynir, reçel çeşitleri çeşitli çörekler, ve çırpılmış yumurta mevcut. Biz memnun kaldık. Kahvaltı Yeri çatıda aydınlık , Roma nın güzel çatılarını ve balkonlarını seyrederek kahvaltı ediyorsunuz. Benim için en önemli bir konu da kahve. Daha önce daha lüks otellerde de görmediğim, espresso istediğimde , doğrudan kahve dükkanlarında olan profesyonel makinalarla istediğiniz kahveyi anında yapıp, kahvaltıya dahil olacak şekilde ücretsiz olarak veriyorlar. Yani daha önceden yapılan ve hazır bekletilen kahveden bahsetmiyorum. Oda var ayrıca.

Отличное соотношение "цена-качество", уютно, тихо. Отель находится в трех-пяти минутах ходьбы от площади Испании. Основные достопримечательности Рима в пределах шаговой доступности: наиболее удаленные объекты в 20-30 мин. ходьбы прогулочным шагом. Метрополитеном пользовались всего один раз. Очень приветливый персонал, готовый всегда прийти на помощь. Отдельное Спасибо сотрудникам на ресепшн и в ресторане за их радушие и гостеприимство! Несомненно, отель будем рекомендовать друзьям и знакомым.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The location was excellent. The common areas were very outdated, but the room was clean. They were kind enough to give us an upgrade because the crib we requested wouldn't fit well in the standard room we booked. The breakfast food was just ok, but the view from the top floor was nice. My only real disappointment is that they said they had laundry, but it turns out it is an external pickup service, not a laundry area where you can do it yourself. The service was very expensive and the hotel charged a fee on top of that, so it ended up being about 60 euro for just two days worth of clothes.

The location of Hotel Madrid is fantastic - a few minutes walk from Trevi, Spanish Steps and very close to excellent bus and easy links to other parts of the city. Hotel Madrid is also very close to lots of fantastic shopping with lots of high street shops and countless designer options. The staff were helpful and friendly and did and excellent job. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty on the roof top terrace. In general, the room we stayed in was a little dated but it was also spotlessly clean, very spacious and comfortable. This hotel is an excellent choice for those who value cleanliness, location and friendly helpful staff over luxury modern fittings.

O hotel e bem antigo, com carpete velho mas, só voltávamos tarde e isso não importava, afinal estávamos em Roma. O quarto era limpo e confortável e o hotel oferecia um excelente café da manhã e seus atendentes eram sempre simpáticos e gentis. Ótima localização e na recepção Sr. Patrick sempre nos ajudava com tudo. Somos gratos.

Hotel Madrid is a cozy hotel with amazing caring staff, in a perfect location to explore Rome on foot! Rooms & bathrooms are spacious and clean and have everything you need to get rest from eventful days in beautiful Rome (fridge, safe, hairdryer, basic toiletries). Air conditioner was working perfectly giving much needed relief in 30 heat. Wi-Fi was strong throughout the whole stay. Reception staff is very helpful and friendly, always there to answer your questions or give directions and make suggestions. Location is a few minutes walking from Spanish steps and Trevi fountains. Supermarket is right around the corner to pickup snacks or water. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in any direction to satisfy any taste or just sit down with coffee or cocktail and watch people/enjoy the scenery. Breakfast is served on the top floor terrace from 7 am (convenient time to start your day early!) and will definitely leave you full and satisfied: scrambled eggs and bacon, various selections of yogurts, cheese, ham, fresh pastries and fruits. Their cappuccinos are AMAZING! Check in and Check Out process is quick and simple. In 3 days I spent in Rome I haven’t used public transport once - I walked to all attractions on foot, even to Vatican and Trastevere (Rome is indeed a very walkable city) Considering its location and superb service Madrid hotel might be not uber fancy but it is charming, clean and gives you a great comfort without breaking your bank. Highly recommend it!

+ The staff was very friendly. + Location of the Hotel was good. + breakfast at the nice roof terrace - our room was dark, window towards the back yard, no view at all, barely could see the sky - air conditioner didn’t work, so it was too warm. -The third bed had no little table next to it. - taxi/limousine service didn’t work well. We booked transportation (via Hotel) in advance. (60€)That was a mistake. When arrived to Rome, there was supposed to be a driver waiting for us at the meeting point. We waited long, then found out there was no one getting us, though I got confirmation Mail. We took a white taxi from the airport! Only 48€! On the way back, the taxi service recommended by the Hotel cost 52€ instead of the 50€. Again white taxi would have been cheaper.

O hotel estava numa localização maravilhosa, perto do metro e cerca de vários monumentos a dez minutos a pé. O pequeno almoço era saboroso, servido no terraço com vista para a basílica de São Pedro!
