The Front desk team was wonderful but Ivana (I hope I spelled her name correctly) , provided exceptional service. I really enjoyed my time at this hotel. Location was ideal and really great to explore Rome. Wonderful hotel.

We had a lovely stay at The Steps. Our room was spacious and the closet was great. The location of the property was perfect. It was near many sites and all walkable. We will be headed back there soon for a second stay.

The hotel was just minutes away from many sites. Everything was within walking distance. We had a lovely stay. The breakfast was delicious. We stayed there before we traveled to Amalfi and came back one night before we returned home. They upgraded our room our second stay. They also helped coordinate our transfers to and from the airport and down to Amalfi. The staff was wonderful. We hope to see them again soon.

One thing to note: the door to the hotel was a pain to open. You'd tap your card and it wouldn't work, then suddenly it would. If you were really drunk, it wouldn't be much fun. Besides that, it was great. The location was excellent and everything was very clean.

In room air conditioning unit was broken. It worked, but the display brightly flashed HELP all day long. We stayed in the annex and basically had the whole place to ourselves so that was awesome. Great location, helpful staff. Good deal overall

We stayed in a close by building the room was new and clean . At the last day there wasn't water in the bathrooms . The staff was very helpful and try to assist with a key to another room . Except of this incident we enjoyed our stay

The Steps Hotel is a wonderful little hotel in an absolutely perfect spot in Rome, a few blocks from the famous Spanish Steps and excellent proximity to all of the wonders and charm that Rome has to offer. The staff was excellent and dedicated to customer service and could not have been better. From the moment we got there, Alessandra treated us like family, and the other staff members, especially Joy, we very kind, caring, and accommodating. The included breakfast was delicious, nutritious, and convenient. The bed was very comfortable. All in all, a highly recommended place to stay in Rome. Oner thing to take note of. The Steps has a satellite location a few blocks down the ally. We stayed there the first night. The room was very small and there is no on-site staff. There is no elevator. The second 2 nights we stayed at the main location. When booking, make sure you are booked at the main location, in my opinion.

The staff are incredibly helpful. The hotel is well kept inside. Location is central to so many historical sites. The internet is unstable and goes in and out. Us ItTaxi to get around with most rides under 20 us dollars

The property has a beautiful entrance. Loved the style and the staff was friendly and helpful. They “upgraded” our room but I am not sure I liked that room layout as well as the one I booked. The WiFi did not work well at all and neither did our AC. Our room was hot and we would try to lower it and it never kicked on. The location was excellent.
