Great location. Close to a metro stop and close to the Vatican. It is a guest house don’t expect hotel like service. On a busy street so if you can’t sleep with noise, avoid it.

Noisy, pricey

This is a ROOM only. Before you arrive, I suggest you contact them via WhatsApp one day in advance. We arrived in the morning to drop off the bags but didn't get into the room. So we found a luggage room and paid to store our luggage. I regretted booking this place for 3 nights because we could not get to sleep well. The room is right next to the road. The cars, buses, and motorcycles run the whole evening which is super loud. The shower room is super tiny. I am 155cm and 50 kg and I hardly move into the shower room. Not very clean either. I realized one of the towels was not dry on the towel rack they just replaced that day. Too pricey and I am not very happy about this. The location is ok. The breakfast place doesn't have good quality food. The WIFI is bad. Either disconnect the whole time or be super weak.

La camera è Situata in una zona ottima, a Prato vicino alla metro, esteticamente carina, si presenta sporca (polvere, peli e muffa un po’ ovunque). Non vale assolutamente i 160 euro a notte , la colazione si paga parte (più di 10 euro per avere brioche e bevanda calda) e in più bisogna recarsi al bar sulla strada

Great location

Excellent location just 10 minutes walking distance to Vatican museum and 30 minutes to Pantheon. Loads of shops,bars and restaurants around. Very friendly and helpful host. The only downside was very limited choice of breakfast which I had included in my booking. Not a big deal anyway. I'm going back to Rome definitely stay there again and will recommend that.

Took My Money and Offered Nothing in Return

I had a terrible experience with this property. They essentially stole my money and offered no services. Due to passport problems, my family was unable to travel to Rome (which was devastating for us). Hotels.com was unwilling to do anything, other than call the property and ask them to refund our money. It was only then that I learned I had a booked a “special” price that could not be refunded, even if I couldn’t get to the country. Hotels’ final solution was for me to try to call and email the property. After doing so multiple times, Candia Inn wouldn’t even respond to me. Rather than treat me fairly, they charged me hundreds of dollars for a room that sat empty. Meanwhile, Hotels would do nothing to right the situation. Hotels and Candia Inn took a disastrous situation with a passport and made it that much worse.

I liked it as it was renovated and new. It was very clean compared to the other similar motels I stayed at in U.K., France and rest of Italy at same star and prices. What I didn't like is the small fridge temperature control was not adjustable, it didn't keep food as cold as it should. The towel dryer in the bathroom was brand new but no hot water ran through it even after setting the control knob to max for three days. The blanket was very slippery and always on the floor. It was a perfect motel as there was nobody there the whole time we were there.

A pleasant room, minutes' walk from Vatican Museum

We had a Friday night reservation at the Vatican Museum and needed a place to stay close to there. This place is literally four minutes' walk to the museum and about fifteen minutes' walk from St. Peter's Basilica. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and included a free continental breakfast. The front desk person (Cyntia) was very pleasant, friendly, and helpful, and we'd stay here again. Just a tip when you arrive: This hotel is located in an apartment block with a New York City-style directory list of names and a buzzer button next to the each names to let you in the entrance. You'll see the hotel name in the list; press the button next to the hotel name and they'll buzz you in. The hotel sign on the street is a little small and it took us a while to figure it out.

Good room, location, and price

The room was new, spacious and nice. They had great accommodations like lockers and a small kitchen. Very close to the Vatican and metro station. One of the best places for the price to stay in Rome while on Vacation!

Great!

Cyntia was very nice and met us early to check in. The area is really great and close to the Vatican, food, and shopping. Would definitely stay again. We had to leave early, but would definitely stay there again.

This property is very near to Vatican City and has very good neighborhood. Checking in and check out were smooth and have flexible checkout time. Also have locker available for luggage.The staff was very helpful and supportive. If you are looking for a decent place with budget, the place can be a good choice.

Very close to Vatican

Room was very clean. On two night stay, single small bar of soap was not replaced on second day so showered with shampoo the second stay. Similarly, tea bags and towels were not replaced. Never any facial tissue in "kleenex" holder. Check in time is limited so the 20 minute delay in flight plus slow luggage meant than we paid a 10 euro late fee. Since this was a substitue booking when original was removed for refurbishing, I would not have originally booked for that tight a schedule. Proprietor was very pleasant and location is very close for "skip the line" Vatican tickets. Lots of vehicle street noise the first night until about 2:30 AM, quieter the second night.

Nice 2-day stay.

Nice experience, good room. The only problem was a bug we saw before departure. However, I still believe that it was cleaner than the other rooms in Rome, because it is a very old city and not so clean generally.

Bra och prisvärt boende.

Boende i området nära Vatikanen. Bra med trevligt bemötande från personal. Tyst trots central beliggenhet. Liten hiss för oss med barnvagn, men i övrigt nöjda och motsvarade våra förväntningar!

yo soy un frecuente huesped de hoteles.com y nunca me habia pasado que un hotel tuviera chinches o pulgas o a saber que clase de vichos eran. Termine mi estadía toda llena de piquetes, yo pense que era una alergia hasta que desgraciadamente me di cuenta que eran animales la ultima noche los vi en la cama fue de horror super desagradable. Espero este comentario le sirva a los del hotel pues esta muy bien ubicado y esta como lo ponen en las fotos bastante bien. yo aconsejo una buena fumigada no les caeria mal

An excellent location for us

This accommodation is in an ideal location for the Vatican and St Peter's Square. There is a Metro within a 5 minute walk, from where you can get to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. We preferred to walk. The rooms are clean, spacious and have all the facilities you need. The staff are friendly and do a great job. The location in a busy area of the city does make it noisy sometimes, so if you want peace and quiet you might want to stay somewhere else.
