"It was the perfect place for our family of five to explore the Groningen area and our family's ancestry. The house was spacious, clean, quiet, and located right on a canal. We rented the boat and took it out on the lake one day. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed grilling and eating outside on one of the many decks surrounded by flowering bushes and plants. We wish we had more time to spend at the house and in the Kropswolde/Groningen area but hope to come back someday!"

"May not suit everyone, but if you want a very quiet, relaxed time, this is perfect. The cabin was superb, with everything you need. No TV, and that was fine. The owners were lovely, Stan and Ienke were gentle souls who were always on hand. The satnav. did not take us directly to the camp, but it was easy to find. Beautiful cycling area. Would definitely go there again. This is a place of quiet and peace, a place to unwind. It has a wildness about it that is endearing."

"Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet. Im Bad ist leider keine Steckdose, aber direkt außen im Flur neben der Tür. Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche ist sehr schwach. Zum waschen von langen Haaren braucht man daher etwas mehr Zeit. Wir haben gut geschlafen. In der Nähe am Hafen ist ein Restaurant mit leckeren Gerichten und einer tollen Terrasse. "

Gute Hausstruktur, so dass Schlafen und Wohnen auf diesem Raum möglich ist. Die Terasse ist zum Teil überdacht und reicht als sonnenbeschienener Teil bis ans Wasser.
