This home was very much as described (and as reviews stated). The neighborhood was very quiet with friendly neighbors/other travelers, and the walk to the beach was an easy five blocks. Communication with Vacasa property management was detailed via email and text, and check-in consisted of a code to a key lockbox sent via text/email the morning of arrival. The cleanliness of the home was very acceptable (wood floors, kitchen table/counters/refrigerator and bathrooms). As some reviews stated, the carpet on the stairs was stained but to be expected with a light colored rental carpet, and the downstairs couches could benefit from a steam cleaning or replacement (a bit on the soft sink-down a lot side), but nice to have the common area with the kitchen for the family to be together. The fire pit was nice, and there was plenty of wood in the garage (even though we brought our own). We were impressed with the amount of spices stocked in the kitchen and lots of essentials such as coffee filters, aluminum foil, stretch wrap as well as plenty of plates, cups, mugs, silverware and cooking pots and pans (the baking sheets were a little bit on the rusty side). Also found dishwasher soap, some laundry detergent, spray and wash, hair dryers in both bathrooms and hotel shampoo/conditioner provided. We found a kite in the garage which was a lot of fun at the beach and two boogie boards (too cold to use). We had five adults in our group and one toddler with a high chair that we brought - we did find the kitchen table to be a bit crowded between the front door and the appliances (although thinking back on it now, we could have moved the table a bit each meal to make more room . . .). We really didn't even use the upstairs "game room" with the television, although our grown son did try to get the XBox to work, but was never able to get a game to play. The three bedrooms worked well for us, and the double beds were comfortable with cozy bedding and additional blankets provided. Each room had its own wall heater, so everyone could control their own temperatures. In summary, I would rent this home again for my husband and myself and maybe one other couple or school age children. Due to the weather (half rainy/half sunny days) and the ages of our little grandchildren, we spent more time in the home each day than I was anticipating, and it might have been nice to have an ocean view while we were indoors and a fireplace for ambiance . . .
