"I love the fire outside of our cabins and sitting with other guest, while sharing stories. Very clean and beautiful room. However, no room for clothes. The staff was very nice."

"Lovely room and nice common areas to chill out in. The views were great and watching the wildlife at breakfast was cool. Denis’ breakfasts were amazing and set us up for the day, as were his recommendations for places to go. Personally for us, Denis was a little pushy on the upsell of dinner."

"We were limited by hotels in the area but found this one and i don't think the photos do it justice. The rooms were very nice and well equipped. Good size fridge, microwave and very good hair dryer. The room i stayed in had very nice split living room to bedroom. The parking was very good, lots of space. The breakfast was ok, not the best i have had, limited choice, but always found something to eat and the food was ok. My friend said the porridge was very good. They just had limited milk options, and my friend is lactose intolerant and bought her own milk."

"The house is an older premises and is well maintained with a large fenced in backyard-perfect for a dog if one is travelling with their pet. There is also a nice deck which would be great on good weather days. The house is clean, well stocked with coffee, teas, cooking spices, and other household supplies. The area has much to offer surrounded with mountains. walking trails and horseback riding opportunities. It is also a historic place with early fur traders forging new settlements. There are stunning views on the way to the house which is about one hour from Jasper and only 20km to Hinton for food shopping, fuel ups and anything else one needs.The host is very responsive and friendly. The house is for sale which may eventually remove it from Vrbo though perhaps the new owners will carry on this rental tradition."
