Clean room, staff are amazing, bar is excellent. They are currently renovating the building, so some of the main entrances are closed and the elevators are always full.

I always love staying at Strathallan! The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and I’m obsessed with the views from Hattie’s. I stayed here for my birthday, and it was easy to access all the places we wanted to visit.

The only complaint that I have is that the bath towels were like sand paper. They need to buy some new towels. Otherwise, everything was great. Staff was welcoming, warm & helpful. Room was great - clean and bedding was cozy and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. Needed towels, staff brought up immediately after phone to desk. Bar was fun, too. We had dinner there and a few things. The price of the meals are extremely high, ie: pork chop was $46 which included no sides. The pork chop came out very under cooked, however the chef corrected and was very tasty. And the waitress Glacy (who was very fun to banter with!), made it right with a complimentary beer and dessert (which was very good). We would not eat there again onky because of the price, but again Service was excellent and the chef is talented. Overall, 8/10!

My two-night stay was excellent. I appreciated the text message check in from the front desk asking how my stay has been and if I needed anything to make my stay better. My room was clean, the only thing that was a little inconvenient was the fact that my microwave was unplugged and I had to uncomfortably reach over and behind the writing desk and tv dresser stand to reach the power cord to plug it back in.

Your a tourist and want location as a priority for your stay, this hotel could not be better in Rochester. Modern and in great condition, you can rest on a firm after walking the nostaligic neighborhood full of museums and good restaraunts.
