"The village is nice and in a beautiful location. Parking was very easy and convenient. The only problem with the rooms was the awful smell (probably from the carpets). Even ventilating the rooms didn’t help."
"Minimum food and amenities are options to grab these outside of continental breakfast hours. Very tight in the communal spaces felt like we were right on top of each other. Basic other hotel amenities were solid."
"Good size room, comfortable beds with clean linens and sheets. Noise outside the room with people slamming the doors starting early in the morning. And if you are a light sleeper the in room air conditioning kicks and out throughout the night can be annoying. But all in all we had a great stay."
"Property was really nice and nostalgic. We pushed in just for 1 night prior to hiking down the trail to catch a rafting experience. The short amount of time we were there was superb."
Holiday Inn Resort The Squire at Grand Canyon by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"The accommodations were beautiful and the room lovely. The beds and linens were fantastic and the outdoor space fun for families. We only stayed one night and in the morning were dismayed to find a vinegar liquid in our coffee maker. And then it didn't work anyway. Needless to say, it didn't bode well for the day. We got in touch via text to let them know about the coffee maker and a serviceman came to our door with 2 coffees with all the fixings. It changed our outlook immediately. It was a great save to the day. We were in good spirits for our trip to the canyon shortly after."
"Check in and out was extremely easy. The lady at the concierge desk was very helpful. We didn’t use the amenities (hot tub, etc) because it was our first time to the canyon and we spent most of our time there.
The beds were very comfortable and the housekeeping was very good.
We had breakfast in the restaurant before we left and it was delicious. The waiter and other members of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Would definitely consider staying there again."
