"We liked the old fashioned grandeur of the place although the halls and doors could probably do with a spruce up. The room was quite large, clean and comfortable with tea and biscuits. The restaurant and bar looked quite nice but we didn’t use them. We thought the breakfast was a bit expensive at almost £40 for two so got some half price locally. We also had to pay £10 for parking nearby. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful though. All in all we had a nice stay."

"We had a fantastic stay in Beacon. The house was comfortable and spacious, providing plenty of room for our group of 10 lads who were visiting for a day of walking and canoeing along the River Wye. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi after an active day outdoors, and the garden barbecue area was perfect for spending the evening together. Everything was just what we needed, and the property made for a memorable trip. Highly recommended!"

Access to the river was easy and walks along the riverbank were wonderful. I would highly recommend this guest house as a base for exploring the area."

"We had such a lovely time at Meadow End Barn, celebrating my husband's 40th. It's a gorgeous place and perfect for a gathering. It was very clean and tidy, the kitchen well stocked and the beds were extremely comfortable. Lots of games for kids and adults alike, everyone had a wonderful time, thank you Coralie!"

I think that the house is a work in progress- upstairs and front rooms appeared to have been renovated ( although couldn’t turn on hot tap on bathroom sink and main lights in bedroom didn’t light - we were ok using the side lights)Kitchen and lean to in need of updating, and garden needs attention. However I would return as it was clean, comfortable and in great location"

"We didn’t have hot water for our stay but the weather was nice all weekend so not too much of an issue. Never received the email with the check in number but thankfully the golf course staff were very helpful nearby. Overall it was well priced and in a great location for easy access to Hereford whilst still being in the countryside. Very peaceful location and friendly neighbours. Our two dogs had a great time staying there too!"
