Obviously, a lot of love is poured into this home. It is nicely laid out, very comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It has every amenity you could need. The yard is just lovely. Although it was between flowering seasons, I can imagine how glorious the gardens must be in bloom! The backyard, right on the water, was great. Lots of comfortable, peaceful, relaxing seating. We had perfect weather and the sunsets and fire in the pit were awesome. Thankfully, we were able to bring our little senior rescue dog. She actually leapt in the air several times ( something we have never seen) and rolled on the grass like her bucket list was fulfilled. She was happy. The house sits between two quaint towns ( Westfield and Northeast). Both worth a visit. A marina and beach are only 8 miles away. And, if you are into it, several wineries close bye.
Through NO fault of the owners, an animal somehow got into the crawl space or walls. We live among a lot of trees ourselves and have had an animal in our walls. Not so pleasant. But, from the start, the owners were up front and completely transparent about what was going on. Said we could cancel with full refund if we liked. They brought in an exterminator, someone to check the septic ( just in case), bought air filtration units, ozone machine, sprays, and throughout, kept us posted. We thought we would be okay. And we were. I am positive these two men will continue to be on top of everything and have the house perfect.
