"Our group vacation was to reconnect five lifelong girlfriends. We brought our friends and families together too and the trip was magical. The villa is even more gorgeous in person. The landscaping, replete with natural beauty, is comfortable and inviting- flowers, herb and vegetable gardens, grape vines, and ponds with fish and frogs. "We really enjoyed the location and the impressive views of the mountains. The village is very quiet and we had many relaxing days around the property. We used the location as a base to visit Pisa, Cinque Terre and Florence and the hosts made some good recommendations of places to visit on the coast e.g Lerici and Levanto. We felt that the property would benefit from air conditioning in the peak summer months but we managed ok with fans in all bedrooms. It was difficult to park our hired car...

"Very lovely home, stunning views from the deck. Great communication with host. The place had plenty of space for two families, total of 8 people. Great to come back to a refreshing pool after a hot day and watch the sunset from the deck. We wish the place was a little bit cleaner and more maintained. Prior reviews do mention leaking shower and we have experienced it as well. One of the bedrooms had pet hair all over the sheets, likely from a cat that lives on the property. Kind of an issue of...

It also had a very poor signal and didn't work for much of the time. *The pool furniture was grubby and worn.
