Great location and clean property. However, getting bags up to the room was quite the experience - steps from the rail station down to the marina. Followed by 3-4 stories - the initial steps are double height which makes this especially challenging. Other challenges - no early check in. Asked for porter service for way back - got a number but the contact said he does not work with this air bnb anymore. So we had to lug our luggage back. But the property is impeccable and clean and the view from the terrace is really awesome and made up for these shortcomings. Breakfast was great as well.

Gorgeous and clean place with a beautiful view. It was a little difficult to find but a local was able to help us find it. There are a lot of stairs so be ready to climb!

Last minute room change
Merchant informed me of a change in my reserved room at the last minute. The room was not worth what I paid for, though it was pleasant. The shower is quite nice. The Jacuzzi seems to be mostly for show.

The unit shown in the photos is not what you get. I reported this to Expedia and they have dodged it, you can only talk to virtual agents that reply in circles. They refuse to answer questions. The owner or Expedia has entered photos inconsistent with the property. For example, we picked a unit with an indoor spa tub. We received a moldy shower with a bathroom door that was broken, a heater that could not be turned off, broken rope railings to enter the unit up 4 levels of stairs that are steeper than they are wide, terrible lighting, and far short of having kitchen equipment required make anything. The photos provided were from a different unit and the condition upon arrival was far from luxury. This unit shouldn’t be more than $100 a night. Expedia won’t comment on if the owner or if Expedia is responsible for the incorrect images, nor have they corrected it on their site. Do not expect to get help from Expedia or ownership when the problems are reported. This listing is a scam.

Overpriced!
Place overpriced. The heating was not working and there were no blankets available. Cabinets door falling apart. The entrance to the place was a working site. Sign everywhere on how much it would cost to do anything extra. Only positive experience is the little balcony with a spectacular view!

Highly recommend
Absolutely loved staying here! One of my favorite places I stayed at in Italy. It really felt so comfortable, the bed and bathroom were so nice. Loved the view of the water and town from the balcony. It was magical to wake up to the sunrise and ocean view. Perfect location. Highly recommend staying here!

This property is well located with a beautiful view. Be prepared, there are steep steps to get into the apartment and you have to carry your luggage up several steep flights of stairs. But if you are ok with that, then you will love it.

Comfortable space and good location, with probably some of the best views in Riomaggiore. Property was more than adequate for our short stay and exploration of the area. Property is somewhat challenging to negotiate with lots of luggage, but fortunately, there is a porter service who is able to help with bags. However, the incredible view and the convenience in allowing us to see the town early in the morning prior to the masses arriving, made this property well worth the 4 flights of stairs!

Incredible stay and view - Paradise
We had a fantastic stay. The location was perfect. The view was picturesque, and the breakfast was superb. I was worried after I booked; I saw some bad reviews on this place that it was a scam. It is NOT a scam; you need to be smart and read your emails. Check-in is contactless, but it is all laid out in a welcome letter by email and worked flawlessly. The staff was super responsive to WhatsApp texts, and we had a fantastic trip. I will definitely stay with them again. And encourage the same. We had front-row seating at the marina and an incredible sunset. The breakfast was terrific as well. They catered to my dietary needs and made it the perfect stay. Once at the B&B, the ferry and train will get you everywhere you need to go. My only warning is that the stairs to this place are narrow and steep, but I will do it again for that view. Parking is off-site, but it is manageable to get to and from the parking and B&B.

Great location - complex accessibility
Fantastic location! Only parking opportunity is a parking garage at the entrance of the village. It would have been great to get this info from the hotel in order to avoid confusion when arriving. I asked the hotel about parking, but the response was not clear enough and we still had to stop and ask people where we were allowed to park. Also, when parked, pack lightly! It’s a tough walk down. Especially if you follow the route suggested by Google Maps which you shouldn’t!!! Google suggests the shortest route which is stairs only (tough if you have heavy luggage). It is much better to follow the main road outside the parking garage down to the marina!!! At least then you can drag your luggage (if it has wheels). It would have been nice to get this info from the hotel! There is also a luggage service available (approximately 10 Euros per bag) which is so totally worth it! Again, would have been nice to get this info from the hotel! Also, the hotel requires you to send pictures of your passport over WhatsApp which made me very uncomfortable. But the room is awesome and location is great!

Amazing room in riomaggiore!!
Incredible stay at La Vista, one of the best nights sleep I got in Italy. Room was spacious and comfortable, AC was the best we had during our whole trip. The breakfast service was lovely too. My only suggestion would be to be mindful of the stairs up to the room, they are dark and steep.

Access to room is not clean or safe, room except for a few details is very clean and nice. There is no receptionist. Looking at othe properties in the area this is probably one of the best

The view from the terrace in honeymoon suite is absolutely stunning. That alone is worth staying there. The room was very clean, the bed was nice, and the amenities were very good. Just like all the other hotels in Riomaggiore, though, there are so many steps! Be sure to pack light to climb up those stairs.

Great Apartment Rental!
Great apartment! Perfect for couples or small family. Great, simplistic design with queen bed in loft and queen bed in separate back bedroom. Amenities were spot on! Balcony with table and chairs. Lots of steep stairs to access if mobility is a concern.

Excellent views!
The view from the property was amazing. The apartment is updated and clean from the inside. The breakfast delivered to the room was very convenient. Riomaggiore is a pedestrian village, so you need to be prepared to carry the luggage through a number of stairs to the village and up to the fourth floor.

Das Apartment ist im 4. Stock in einem antiken Gebäude am Hafen mit sehr beschwerlichem Aufstieg, mit großem Koffer wohl nicht zu bewältigen. Tolle Aussicht. Der angepriesene kostenlose Parkplatz an der Unterkunft gibt es nicht. Der Ort selbst ist komplett autofrei. Es gibt am Ortsanfang ein öffentliches Parkhaus, wo wir den letzten freien Parkplatz fanden, für den wir für 3 Tage 105 Euro bezahlen mussten. Die Klimaanlage hat am ersten Abend nicht funktioniert, das Problem wurde am nächsten Tag von einem Techniker behoben. Frühstück ist das Geld nicht wert, es gibt weder Käse, Wurst oder Schinken. Nichtraucherzimmer ist zwar schön, hilft aber leider wenig, wenn die Gäste im Nebenzimmer am Balkon rauchen und der Rauch in unser Zimmer zieht. Sehr unangenehm.

Un appartement fabuleux, idéalement situé !
Un très bel appartement, tout confort avec une terrasse vue imprenable juste au dessus du port ! Honnetement, un endroit rêvé ! Chose à savoir (mais comme partout aux 5 terres) il faut grimper, grimper, grimper par de petits escaliers pour arriver à l'appartement ! Bon pour la vue, bon pour les mollets !

La chambre se trouve en haut de 4 étages par seulement des escaliers très raides, dans le bas d’un village accessible seulement à pied. La chambre en elle même est correcte avec une belle vue mais aucun service, pas de réception, pas d’aide avec les bagages, la seule personne en contact ne répond pas au téléphone et e-mail. Le petit-déjeuner inclus dans le prix de la chambre, exorbitant pour ce que c’est, n’est pas servi avant 9:30/10 heures. Nous sommes très déçus de cette expérience et du prix payé pour.

Emplacement idéal à Riomaggiore, au bout du petit port, en hauteur. Petit conseil, si vous venez en voiture, voyagez léger, l ascension du village et du bâtiment est rude. Chambre belle et bien équipée, superbe balcon (honey moon suite).

El cuarto muy moderno, cómodo y bonito, La vista espectacular. Lo único es que se encuentra en el 5to piso, los escalones son muy altos y angostos, no hay elevador. Definitivamente se tiene que contratar el servicio de maletero, cuesta 5 euros por maleta pero es indispensable (Roberto el que presta el servicio fue muy atento y eficiente). Muy bonito lugar pero no es un lugar que recomendaría fácilmente para personas de edad mas avanzada. Las mejores fechas para visitar son en sept-oct, marzo-abril. A nosotros en nov ya nos tocó el clima frío y con mucho viento y lluvia.

We LOVED the location of this property! The view from the balcony is perfect if the city of Riomaggiore, and right on on the ocean front. It was a very short walk from the train station (5 minutes or less) but there are many steep stairs to get to this hotel room. The hike to the top was worth the view! This hotel was beautiful and a great taste of Italy!

Beautifully refurbished suite! I highly recommend this room if you’re staring in Riomaggiore. The room has a very modern vibe, but you walk out on the private terrace and see the old charm of the village.

The property is hard to find, but they were responsive when we were asking for help. If a stay was any longer and I had a lot of luggage, I would have never made it down from the parking and back up the small stairs. I didn’t notice from the pictures but there is no sitting area with a couch etc, just a table and chairs. Beds were super comfy and view was amazing!

Spectacular Place
Spectacular place with an amazing view! We couldn't have asked for a better location or host. The wifi was out while we were there, but when in the room we spent our time on the terrazza enjoying the scenery.
