"The pros and the cons. First the cons. As a disabled veteran, I did not like being interrogated about my Service dog. Act like they're gonna get gypped out of $25 dog fee. Next, the pillows/cases did not smell fresh, kind of smelled like someone's head, but I couldn't be for sure. I do know they did not smell like soap. The continental breakfast was OK. Just OK. The area was fine during the daytime, but I don't think I would go out at night. Considering all that I think $150 plus a night was way overpriced. And to top it all off. The whole area stunk outside. I was told it's a local slaughterhouse. The good stuff, the entryway and Office look up scale. The rooms look good and clean with exception of my pillowcases smell like someone else's head. Maybe wonder if they could change the sheets too. Unfortunately, I believe that foreign owner/operators may tend to cut corners to save a dollar."

"We enjoyed our stay. The home was as described, and nice and clean. Communication with the host was great. We were very comfortable. The back deck and front porch were great for morning coffee or evening wine. I don’t think we will ever be back to Galesburg, but if we did come we would definitely stay here again. Sincerely,Cindi"

"This was our second stay here. Cabin is clean peaceful and relaxing. I kayaked while my husband fished. (Bass, Catfish and bluegill) There is a huge turtle in there! I did not see any snakes which is a relief. You can hear the coyotes at night, but the area is well lit so no need to worry. There is a coffee shop in Viola. It’s Beanfield coffee house very nice and friendly staff. Also in Viola there is an ice cream shop and a dollar general if you forgot anything. For shopping essentials there is a Walmart and Mercer Market in Aleto if you don’t mind a few extra miles."

"I made my reservation a month in advance and requested a king suite for my stay since I was going to be staying several days and wanted to be comfortable and not just have a desk chair and a bed when I was back in the room. When I went to check-in I was informed there were no king suites available and got stuck in a King ADA room that had a musky odor. I paid for a king suite even thou I was in a king ADA room which I am not pleased with"
