The host Margot’s is a very friendly guy. He was also very helpful in assisting me to find transportation to the apartment. The apartment has the feeling of home. It was wonderful to wake up to the singing of birds in the morning even though I am in the heart of the city. The bed was extremely comfortable which made me sleep very well during my entire stay. Shopping, dining and historical monuments are all within walking distance. The entire city is accessible through an efficient public transit system. I cannot wait to come back next year!

Boheemi, mutta siisti asunto

Yövyin kaksi yötä asunnossa. Asunnon rappukäytävä oli aika eksoottininen ja epäsiisti. Tullessani asunnolle, huoneistossa oli todella viileää, koska ikkuna oli jätetty auki tuuletusta varten. Ilma oli siitä huolimatta aika tunkkaista ja asunto tuoksui aika voimakkaasti raikastimelta. Syy tunkkaisuuteen selvisi mennessäni kylpyhuoneeseen. Osa suihkun lattialaatoista oli ikään kuin irti, osan lattojen välissä saattoi olla jopa sentin rakoja ja vettä oli varmaan päässyt aika paljon laattojen väliin, joka on saattanut muodostaa jotain homekasvustoa, koska haju oli voimakas. Asunto oli muuten erittäin siisti ja persoonallisesti remontoitu ja sisustettu. Kaikki muu oli todella siistiä paitsi tuo mahdollisen vesivaurion aiheuttama haju. Viileän asunnon sai myös hyvin lämpimäksi pattereilla. Keittiöstä löytyi kaikki muu tarvittava kuin uuni ja astianpesukone. Pakastinluukku oli täynnä jäätä ja se kaipaisi sulattamista. Kun lähdin asunnolta haisin aika voimakkaasti tunkkaiselta huoneilmalta. Lattia kannattaisi korjata, jottei vesi pääse rakenteisiin vielä pahemmin.
