Location description: The Aletsch Arena ski area is located in the Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Site. The ski slopes are connected via the 3 resorts of Riederalp, Bettmeralp and Fiescheralp. 11 km of cross-country ski trails and winter hiking trails totalling 75.5 km in length complement the ski slopes. In summer, the region offers unlimited hiking experiences around the Great Aletsch Glacier and the southern side of the Valais. A golf course, tennis courts, minigolf, climbing facilities, two large children's playgrounds and a large natural area for mountain bikers offer everything a sports enthusiast could wish for.
