"This property is beautiful. It is high on a ridge looking through trees that are very tall and cleared of underbrush. You can see the water and it is so beautiful when the sun is shining. The cottage is very comfortable with air conditioning and heat when needed. There is a porch the length of the cottage without a screen so that you can enjoy the view. "WE had a family vacation with 4 children 9-18 years and 6 adults. The place is as described, but one needs to read the description carefully - see next re water access. The access to the water is not easy as it is down a path through rocks and when you get to the water it is all green and slimy with a dock covered in goose poop. We did go kayaking, but swimming etc. is not an option. You can go to other beaches, but the lake had an E.coli outbreak so there was no swimming. An in-ground pool...

"Just as advertised! Large property, although the hike back up the hill from the beach was a bit taxing (but that's just me being out of shape). The hikes through the conservation area were great being so close. Our teens also loved the canoe and kayak that were available too! "

"Thank you Dwayne for sharing your lovely house. We all loved sitting out on the huge decks and enjoying the peace and quiet. Only issue the house is not handicap accessible. Otherwise loved it We traveled the area and the many locks, we could have spent all of our time there watching the process. My daughter-in-law even had a chance to turn the wheel to open the lock for the boats. "
