「Excellent so close to Silver Zone parking」

「The room was beautifully decorated and well maintained. We had a lovely view over the hills. The staff were helpful and accommodating. We had a meal in the restaurant which was lovely but we did have a substantial wait (45+ minutes) which we were not warned about. Overall a lovely place to stay, I would go there again.」

「A very nice hotel, the rooms at the rear of the hotel were former farm buildings which have been completely renovated. There is a wet room ensuite which is well appointed. The restaurant has a good choice of food which is excellently cooked and presented. The breakfast menu which has to be ordered the evening before was slightly confusing until I worked out that the price stays the same and you just tick your personal choices. Well sited and only 6 minutes from the Bristol Airport Silver Zone...

「The pub is an old building, therefore there are things that cannot be changed, so if you are a light sleeper and cannot use ear plugs this may not be for you. It was not an issue for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, we had one evening meal there, breakfast was perfect, they were very accommodating by tweaking the menu to what you prefer. Very close to the caves and gorge, easy to access other attractions.」

The hotel is well positioned and is good value for money, however the rooms are starting to feel a little tired with an example being our toilet seat being broken. Evening meals can be unpredictable, and breakfast during this stay was sparse with hot items looking like they’d been sitting there for some time and no white bread available. 「Room was pleasant but was not serviced on second day. Cooked breakfast was reasonable but there was no cereal to start with nor toast and jam to follow. One cup of cofee only which was served 30 minutes before the cooked meal arrived on the second day. Mains were good but starters and sweet menu was limited and fairly expensive. Overall we were not unhappy but would not have wanted to stay for a third night and would be question if we would use this chain again if this is typical of all their...

「Absolutely lovely place - bedroom was great - clean and had everything you would need at an amazing price. Cannot complain about the room at all. Only had a little niggle with the food as one of our meals wasn’t great but the other fine! Staff were lovely but busy.」
