Nice basic room with all that was required - great price and close to the centre but tucked away nicely. One Minor issue was dealt with instantly by the staff - which was very much appreciated. Would happily stay again.

We had a lovely stay at Sofia Pension, the owner was very friendly and helpful. We had to call at 10pm as our air con wasn’t working when we arrived and someone was promptly sent out to fix it (thanyou) a lovely fresh breakfast was provided. The rooms are on the small side and fairly basic but did the job and for the price and amazing central location in the old town were fare. Thanks for a great stay.

Sofia Pension is a lovely hotel with amazing, very helpful staff. The location is very convenient, situated in the Old City - about a 10-minute walk from any gate. It’s central, yet on a quiet street, and close to some great restaurants and bakeries. The breakfast is quite basic, but on busy days it’s helpful to have the option to eat at the hotel. There is also a beautiful rooftop area. We stayed for a week with our 1.5-year-old. We hired a car and left it outside the Old City walls, where there was always free parking available.

Excellent little hotel in the middle of old town

This is an excellent little hotel in the middle of the old town, very convenient for everything, and in a quiet narrow street not visited by many tourists. The room was very nice, with a comfortable bed and the usual facilities. The owner was friendly and helpful.

This is such a great place to stay when visting Old Town. The beds are very comfortable and the AC works well. We were in room 9 and there were no issues with noise from the parking lot. The breakfast (€10) is a perfect start to the day. It is very easy to navigate through the old town from there. Would recommend Nireas for really good seafood nearby. Very easy to get in and out through the Kolona Gate (Sea Gate). Would love to return and stay here again!

Great place to stay!!!!

We really enjoyed our time at Sofia Pension. Fantastic location, without all the noises of being near so many shops and restaurants. A grocery store is right around the corner and the rooms have great fridge/freezer! Clean rooms, AC, great talks and information from the owner/manager. Would definitely stay here again:)
