This was a fantastic hotel. It was very clean, well stocked, amazing location and Tasos was extremely friendly. They gave us a few staples like bread, milk, pastries, jam, butter, juice and when he checked out he even gave us baklava! Do not hesitate to stay here. A car is recommended for ease of sightseeing, but there were plenty of buses that brought people to Lindos. Amazing view. Amazing stay.

The location in Krana just above the old town and across from the Acropolis is a good 10-15 minute walk down to the village. Ups and downs but so worth it. Views are spectacular of the sea and acropolis. Loved the suite. Well laid out and roomy with balcony. Open air restaurant next door open all day. Golf carts available for 5 euros to go to square in old town or to bus stop and Flora market down the hill. Tasos was great! Lindos is amazing. Winding walking streets that calm down late afternoon when tour buses leave. Beautiful bays and 2 beaches. Highly recommend this property away from the crowds but close to everything.

We had a great stay in Lindian Myth. Tasos was amazing with his communication from start to finish, easily contactable and any queries we have he got to them right away. The room was lovely and cleaned every day which was a bonus! Just a short 15 minute walk to the village to experience all that Lindos has to offer. Will definitely be back!

Great location above the old town

The apartment was lovely with amazing views to the sea and the acropolis. We arrived a little early but we were invited to have a beer whilst we waited for our rooms to be cleaned. You are at the top of Lindos and so you need to be prepared to walk down into town which suited us because the views were amazing and you are an equal distance from both major beaches.

The room was great, was in good condition and a good size with stunning views. Tasos was a very welcoming host who was willing to help with everything from taxis to restaurant recommendations. The room could do with a welcome pack for late check-ins with e.g. the WiFi password and pool information. The drain in the bathroom also flooded slightly. The location was very quiet but easily located for the town and St Paul's Bay.

G

A lovely set of apartments located just up the hill from Lindos. Beaches and Lindos town 10-15 mins walk away and feels nice and quiet being outside of the main town but still an easy walk away. The apartments are big and spacious and the view is amazing. Great to be able to use the pool in the hotel next door with a good pool bar and use of pool towels available. We had to pay extra for aircon which was our only negative as I would expect that to be included in a place such as Greece!

The studio had a great view of the Lindos acropolis as advertised and it looked spectacular once it was floodlit after dark. The studio was clean and tidy and the owners add left us with bread, milk and fruit juice which was particularly nice as well as a coffee machine. The shower worked well. The complex was about a 14 walk downhill into the centre of the town all its many restaurants and shops. Some building was going on next door with the builders starting early but not a big problem although parking was tight as vans came and went. We found it hard to get hold of anyone prior to arriving to arrange the key but luckily someone was on site when we arrived and very friendly. Out of season is nice and quiet but sometimes the staff are much reduced. Overall a great place to stay in the area.

Prepare for extra expense on arrival.

Its important to know when booking that there are 2 types of rooms at the Lyndian Myth, Standard and Deluxe. The Deluxe, which are on the upper floor, are more expensive than the ground floor rooms. I 'requested' a high floor room, and understood that fulfilling 'requests' was dependant on availability. I was never informed until we arrived that a high floor request would come with an extra charge payable direct to the owner. We could not afford this so accepted the ground floor room, and the owner waved the extra charge for air conditioning which was also payable on arrival. The room was well equipped and comfortable. On arrival the fridge is stocked with basicc immediate needs, which is a nice touch. The internet connection is poor and intermittent. There is TV in the room, we didn't use this, there are only Greek programmes plus BBC World news which has no sound. We had a DVD player, but you would need to bring your own DVD's especially if your children need 'downtime'. The situation of the accommodation is good. Away from the road and busy town of Lindos, but within walking distance. There is an excellent bus service, a short walk away, reasonably priced and air conditioned, to Rhodes town and other resorts. George, the owners son who is usually in the office is very helpful and keen to ensure you are having a comfortable holiday. So after a disappointing start we did make the most of our holiday.
