Ots more than we expected - really an historic renovated very cool place. The owner has given great detail to everything. Gorgeous artifax, furniture, attention to tiny details, including freshly baked sourdough bread at the excellent breakfast (we bought some to take with us, the crust was so good). The pool is small but just fine! Sauna was good. We ended up staying longer than we thought and once we were moved to a room with screens on the windows, it was a perfect stay. "Comfortable stay in a cozy cottage. The room is equipped with a fridge and an electric kettle. Breakfast is very good. We also had a nice dinner in the hotel pizzeria with an affordable price. The only disappointment is a pool. It is small and crowded, and water is too warm."

"I had looked forward to my stay at the Seehotel, booked for three nights during a business trip. The lakeside location and sauna/steam room facilities sounded ideal. However, upon arrival, I found a note in my room informing me there would be no telephones for the week due to system work. This also meant the sauna and steam room were out of service, as alarms wouldn’t be available in emergencies. There was no internet or Wi-Fi anywhere in the hotel. This was not mentioned in the welcome letter, and when I raised it at reception, the staff shrugged and unhelpfully suggested trying the top floor for a signal. Additionally, mobile reception was poor, and I often had to sit in a dark corridor on the third-floor conference area to connect and work. The staff appeared indifferent to the inconvenience. When I emailed to raise these issues, I received a handwritten note advising me to speak with reception. However, the house manager was never available when I attempted to follow up. The hotel itself is in a beautiful location in Rhinesberg, and the breakfast and restaurant staff were wonderful. However, my experience was further soured at checkout when the receptionist insisted I pay, despite having prepaid through Hotels.com. I ended up only paying the city tax, plus €5 per night for parking, which felt unreasonable given the lack of key amenities. I won’t be returning; prior notice of such disruptions, or a sincere apology, would have gone a long way."
