Perfect for my four-day stay in Reykjavik. Bathrooms were accessible, common areas were clean, and other guests were very nice. The whole hostel is self-service, which was a first for me but there were no issues with needing assistance. Staff is quick to answer via online messaging if there are any additional questions. There is limited space outside in the storage lockers for luggage before check-in at 3pm, so I would plan to carry it with you, unless you have an alternative place to store it. Overall, it was excellent and I would stay here again!

I enjoyed the 4 person all women room. But the sinks were grimey, the fridge wasn’t cleaned out by staff as often as they have listen so it gets crowded. And it was hard to find any space to lounge other than the kitchen. No signage that showed it and I didn’t want to wander around aimlessly. Continently located and rooms are picked up swiftly after departure.

The issue that we had with this hostel is that we didn't receive any information on accessing the hostel once we arrived. We had to call to get a code and that took a while. Once we got in then we had to find our room. This wasn't easy as there are no clear directions in the hostel on how to find each space. Once we were in, we were fine. The room size was fine and the bathrooms clean.

Hostel B47 was a great place to stay. It was easy walking distance to the Main Street and the kitchen facilities are fantastic! We got woken up each night by other residents who forgot the code and got locked out but this isn’t the hostel’s fault.
