The location of the Foss Lind Hotel is superbly close to all amenities especially the walk to the old town with it’s many restaurants. You can park for free. The breakfasts are the best I’ve had in a long while (great choice) and this sets you up for the day. The beds were extremely comfortable with views of the cathedral. The shower had soft water and left my skin so soft, that was lovely. A lovely stay (very close to the Sky Lounge) and the local coach pick up place to see ‘The Golden Circle’. Thank you Reykjavík.

Parking for free on a first come, first served basis, and there were plenty of space. That is a unique feature in most cities. Breakfast was great with many varieties. Each guest also had a voucher to get a free beverage for free (including alcoholic beverage except for champagne). Very satisfied with the experience.

We arrived by 11am in the morning and the staff let us check in at 12:30 with out extra charge. Although Check in starts at 3pm. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Nice hotel fairly close to the main action in Reykjavik. The room is extremely small. Bed was comfortable and had everything we needed. No air conditioning so we had to sleep with the window open, too warm otherwise. A bit of a concern as our room was street level. Quiet though. Free parking was nice but the lot is small and will fill up so if you come in at a bad time, you will have to pay for parking nearby. A good choice for travelers who pack light :)

The breakfast buffet is 100% worth it. Amazing variety. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Only issues we had was with an odd and very loud screeching draft noise coming from under the door. We had to put a towel under the room door to tolerate it. We also didn’t request room service but they came in anyways after a few days, that was definitely off putting.

Clean and simple room. Small but functional bathroom. Central location. Free parking though some spots were tight to get into. We went to a spa or the nearby public pool every day so we didn’t end up using the shower which was quite small. Very good breakfast with lots of good options. The skyr with berries was especially nice. Good sitting area in lobby. Good value for a three star hotel.

Exceptionally convenient to the old town, old port, restaurants. Superior staff--I wish I knew tge name of the desk attendant on the day of our arrival and next day. So nice, accommodating, helpful. Outstanding breakfast! Room somewhat spartan but it was very clean, housekeeping by request, great bed! If I get back to Reykjavik, I will definitely stay at Fosshotel Lind.

Good location to the church with nice restaurants and supermarket around. The room is small but everything works. Buffet breakfast is a good choice. Staff at the front desk provided excellent advice and service ( I have requested out of hotel provided questions and they answered all). Highly recommend

Nice property, clean room and helpful staff. Nice common areas. Older property though with very small rooms. We had a triple that was obviously meant to be a double with an extra bed added, so there was very little space to work with. Also a very small bathroom and shower. For two nights it was fine but wouldn’t want to stay longer than that with three people. Also I should note that it had very thin walls and we had very noisy neighbors who came back from partying after midnight talking and laughing loudly. But that’s how it can be.
