The property is located within a short walking distance from most anything you would want to see or do in Old Reykjavic, and a short drive to everything else in the area.
The property was very clean, and nicely decorated. The property was well furnished, for a group of 4 people, but could use some small microwave dishes.
The hostess was very friendly, helpful, and a wonderful resource for anyone visiting Iceland
Some minor points:
1) There is no private parking at the property, but I suspect this is not unusual in central Reykjavik. Public parking on the street or a parking area in front of the property was always available and at a nominal cost.
2) Remember to bring eye shades for sleeping if you plan to visit during the Iceland summer, as it never gets dark outside, and it never gets completely dark inside the apartment. We were there for the summer solstice, and I am a light sleeper. Most people would not be bothered....no one else in our group was.
3) Also remember to bring your own towels if you plan to visit one of the many area thermal pools, or there will be a charge of $5-$6 at each location.
We plan to return to Iceland as soon as possible and as often as possible. We had a wonderful time in this amazing country. We would definitely stay at this property again.
