Reykjavik Electricity Museum

The room itself was in good condition. There is a lack if shelving and storage. There is also no air conditioning and the shades were not pulled down, so our room was extremely hot when we checked in. Only the small windows at the top open, so the room never cooled down. Having the shades pulled down when the room is unoccupied during the summer would help solve this issue. Overall we received information when needed from the property. The luggage room is located on floor 0, which was not on the information sheet we received. The hotel was expensive for what e received, but it was a busy time, so all hotels were more expensive. There is some inside parking available, and the bakery next door is amazing.

Great place if you need to stay in Reykjavik with your family. Can't beat the location, it is very close to everything: few steps away from a famous bagel place and at least half a dozen of restaurants, literally across the street from the old port and bus stop #4, only few minutes away from a center city and at least 2 grocery stores. Apartment is clean and spacious for 4 people and has all the essentials including full kitchen and washing machine. One thing to note: hot water has a pretty strong sulfur smell (it seems to be the case in many places in Reykjavik). Didn't bother me much but my wife and daughter kind of hated it. There is no designated parking lot but plenty of street parking nearby and we were mostly walking everywhere.
