Good location, nice hotel

The hotel was comfortable and had a restaurant and bar. The bus from the cable cars stations stops at the hotel. There was no shower curtain for the bathtub or shower-height place to station the hosed shower head, in case you are used to that. Everything was clean.

Stark budget hotel

Stark room straight out of 1980. No amenities, however it was clean. Rest of hotel has been renovated, if you’re getting a deal it’s probably on an unrenovated room.

Comfortable family run hotel with great views

We just stayed one night at this hotel on our way by car to a skiing holiday in Austria, but many of the other guests, mostly German and Dutch, were there for the whole week. It was our third time at this family run hotel which is handily placed in the attractive Alpine town of Ehrwald. It is possible to take a lift from the town to the nearby Zugspitze mountain for skiing. The hotel, which has plenty of open air parking, has great views of the mountains.The Feneberg has its own restaurant which we have eaten well in on each visit, although there are other restaurants and cafes in walking distance. It also has a lively bar used by guests and local alike. As you would expect in Austria, the hotel is very clean and the service attentive and friendly. The bedrooms as a good size, if a little old fashioned.

Nice hotel. Busstop in front.

Zugspitze

Fantastisk beliggenhed med Zugspitze som nærmeste nabo, sikken en udsigt hver morgen ud på balkonen og se direkte op på bjerget fantastisk. Og så var der bare et super personale med rigtig god service, egen restaurant med udsøgt mad fra egen. Et rigtig tiroler hotel

Horrible

It was terrible. The lady checking us in was horribly rude and short. Our room was almost 90 degrees. There is no AC (which I understand, it's hardly ever that hot there) but this weekend it was, no fan either. I tried finding someone to help us with wifi, after 20 minutes we found her out back drinking with friends. The restaurant area was extremely hot since they didn't open any windows. Wifi reception was terrible. The lady who waited on us for dinner was horribly rude and seemed annoyed with us. We sat at a table with the only open window in the place and the rude waitress kicked us out-saying that was a private seat. It made no sense -there was no sign on the table, and it was just part of the restaurant. The next morning, we had to check out early -7am- so we were in a rush. We came down and the lady at the desk says we have to pay for everything in cash! Ha! I understand paying the city tax in cash, but the cost of the hotel and our dinner the night before, can and should absolutely be able to be put on a card. I'm simply not going to carry around that much cash. She gave us a super hard time, and it was only after my husband showed her his wallet, with no cash, and said that we were in a terrible rush to get to our next place that she caved. Needless to say I would never come back here and I would never recommend it to someone else. Literally the rudest people we met on our 3 week trip.

Appalling service, stay away.

We had booked hours before via Hotels.com, but when we arrived, we were told repeatedly that we had no reservation. Then someone else arrived, and both women turned away from us and IGNORED us, until they had been serviced. Then they found our reservation, but did not apologize. They asked about breakfast, we were confused, since the hotel description said breakfast included, but NO BREAKFAST INCLUDED AS ADVERTISED. They refused and asked 40 Euros for breakfast, although they acknowledged that their description on Hotels.com said free breakfast!

Great location and great hotel

Was unsure about the room size since it was booked for 2 but ended up getting a double bed a couch little table with chairs balcony and everything to make the trip awesome! The hotel was gorgeous in a great location 3km from Zugspitze and 1.9km for Lermoos so if you're going to ski this is a great place! Staff was nice, food was great, and a sauna and hot tub topped it all off!

Schönes Hotel mit gutem Preisleistungsverhältnis

Der Whirlpool war unzureichend beheizt. Zimmer sind super und sehr sauber. Das Frühstücksbüffet war auch sehr gut. Gute Lage. Insgesamt zu empfehlen.
