I heard years ago tales of a giant glacier on the border of bc and Alaska. For a long time I knew I had to see it for myself, this summer I made it happen. 5 days, 40 hours of driving, 4 tanks of gas, 3800km of highway(some good some bad), 10 litres of coffee and hundreds of photos of one of the most amazing areas on earth. This is one of my favourites, it’s a self portrait high on an unnamed mountain (which I did summit) across from the mighty salmon glacier. People describe it as being colossal, believe me, it’s bigger than that! #adventure

Remote and worth it! #Trovember To reach this spot head to Stewart, BC then into Hyder, Alaska. Sled access back into BC and up to Salmon Glacier viewpoint. Go for a hike and have some ski turns while looking at this majestic glacier. In Summer you can drive right to this spot! #ExploreBC #ExploreCanada #SalmonGlacier #BC #StewartBC
More north we have not been in Canada BC
Located on the road between Terrace, BC & Prince Rupert, BC. The coastal Sitka spruce rainforest towers over this park located at the confluence of the Exchamsiks & Skeena Rivers. There's a short hike through the forest.
