"This is a tired property. It's clean and serviceable but its age is showing. The carpet designs probably go back to the Carter administration. The furniture is scuffed. My mattress had seen better days. The clock was unplugged, and when I plugged it in I discovered why: it buzzed and hummed. It's too bad, because it's close to so many great things, but it's relatively low price screams, "You get what you pay for." OTOH, the waffle-maker in the breakfast bar worked perfectly, so you take the good with the mediocre! "

"Took a long time to check in because a couple was there reviewing their future wedding plan reservations room by room ... (at 3 PM, arggh) but once she asked them to wait, she checked us in quickly. The room was lovely and very large (Courtyard) and clean. Lovely touch to have sherry to sample...I went and bought a bottle to take home. The sink drain top and one of the outlet covers were broken. Didn't affect us but not a good look. One bed was incredibly firm - miserably so (and I usually prefer a firm bed). The other was "normal" firm. Great pillows. LOVED the fireplace. Very very clean. Quiet. Did not sleep well but did enjoy the room. We left before breakfast was offered. Would stay again."
