"My fiance and I were in town just for the night for a concert down at Pier 17 and from the moment we arrived the gentleman at the front desk made us feel very welcomed. We were running late because of a train delay and despite the time crunch we were under we were able to get checked in quickly without issue and it gave us a sense of calm! We loved the breakfast in the morning they had a great selection, and we took our cups of coffee with us down for a nice walk around the seaport before our generous check out time at noon. There was a different gentleman at the front desk in the morning who was just as kind and welcoming and they graciously held our bags for us for the day even after checkout while we explored the area. We had a lovely stay and would be back anytime!"

"Outstanding stay from start to finish! We were fortunate to receive a complimentary room upgrade, and the views were absolutely incredible from the corner room. The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of the Financial District, with easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, and the bathroom was equally large and beautifully maintained. The service, accommodations, and overall experience exceeded our expectations. This is easily one of the best places to stay in the area, and we would happily return. Highly recommended!"

"If you want the industrial hotel experience this is the one for you. Room with sloped concrete floors, shower low flow waterhead and no room to set down your toiletry bag. Hot water was luke warm not alderan hot. Next door they are busy dismantling another building so garbage trucks were running until midnight and picked it back up around 6am. Not much in the way of amenities. On a positive note, very affordable and conveniently located. If you just need a bed and poor nights sleep this is the place for you."

"Everything was as expected except the bathroom door is a barn style door that refused to stay closed. Slid itself ooen every time and there was no latch. Ended up jamming a towel under it so it stayed. Everything else was good and clean."

"PUBLIC is a very hip hotel with very nice amenities and a seemingly great following. Lots always going on in the common areas. Great juice bar and trippy escalator experience upon entering the foyer. The beds are incredibly comfy!! Who knew that an on/off button in the generous shower stall (great water pressure) was what my life was missing. Great location steps away from 2nd Avenue subway and a well-appointed Whole Foods. Really enjoyed our stay here!"

"The staff was pretty helpful and polite. I'm a little disappointed with the Courtyard experience. I think Marriott has let these properties fall behind. A lot of the amenities are older and you have to inspect the bathrooms and towels prior to use."
