I stayed in a superior double room which was spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent: delicious meal, good choice of beers and plenty of tables in different areas of the venue. I found it very convenient to rest & relax before returning my hire car to Heathrow airport the next day (less than an hour's drive).

Booked for an event at Wasing Estate. Very comfortable room, good value. Weekday breakfast only til 9 (10 at the weekend) which was a shame. Great selection of tea and coffee in the room. The building is badly soundproofed so you could hear people walking around in nearby rooms (creaky floors) which could be problematic for light sleepers. Plenty of parking.

Excellent cooked to order breakfast and a good selection of wines and champagnes at very reasonable prices. Room was clean and comfortable with crisp sheets and comfy pillows. Great for a short stay.

The accomodation is in a separate building to the public house. Considering that my room was on the ground floor near the pub's patio, it was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was excellent with plenty of hot water and the room was relatively cool during the heatwave. Minor gripes - no AC and no fan provided, and no fridge to keep snacks cool. Also the tea and milk was not replenished. However the big plus - they provide good quality toilet paper, instead of the "major breakthrough in cheap toilet paper" that most places use. The booking was a little expensive but I did book at short notice. Would I book again? Yes, most definitely.
