Lock Haven Grandview Hotel
8/10 Good
"Stayed here overnight because it was close to the lake start of our triathlon. It’s not pretty from the outside, looks like an old motel, but the unit was clean, the a/c and tv worked, and it was great to have kitchen facilities to make oatmeal and prep race nutrition (bring your own bowls, utensils, etc, per their online guidance). No staff on site, but instructions for accessing the unit were clearly communicated via a texted video."
City Hall Grand Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"A very, very unique stay at a very historical building. That was very cool to do. Unfortunately I got too late to enjoy the restaurant or the bar. I’m sure I will definitely do it on another time. Room was extremely clean. Amenities were very very user-friendly. I have nothing but good praise for this place and would gladly stay again. In fact that I’m going to do it again sometime soon downtown Williamsport always has some gems to see and some very great eats as. Everything is very convenient for the business that I had to take care of in town. 10 out of 10 highly recommend."
Spruce Run Hideaway, Log Cabin Alone On 245 Acres Of Forest, Lewisburg Pa
10/10 Excellent
"Just as advertised and desired. The cabin was clean, beautiful and peaceful. Just what we needed. We would stay here again."
Lindsey Place
10/10 Excellent
"Clean, well furnished, lots of space, beautiful little town and area"
Old Farmhouse in Rural Setting, between Penn State and Bucknell
10/10 Excellent
"The hosts were lovely and added real hospitality by leaving bread on the counter and milk, eggs and butter in the frig. The house was like staying at Grandma's, well loved and lived in. Very clean, and cozy. AC worked very well. Sunrise on one porch sunset on the other. The house was well appointed with towels and bedding. We would stay again if we find ourselves in the area. It is reasonably close to many things in this beautiful area."
The Fallon Hotel
8/10 Good
"the hotel is in renovation so its a bit ‘rustic.’ The hotel is family owned and the owner was so kind and helpful. The bar attached was rockin’."
Gamble Farm Inn and Suites
10/10 Excellent
"The room was very clean as well as the hotel. I will definitely be staying here again"
Rustic Mountain Getaway w/ Pool + Hot Tub Near Penn's Creek
10/10 Excellent
"Our family had an amazing experience at this cabin. The cabin was extremely clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The backyard/deck/pool/hot tub area is gorgeous. The host, Cory, was quick to respond to any questions that we had. We highly recommend this property!"
Water Front Cottage Pine Creek Rail Trail Pennsylvania's 2026 Trail of the year!
8/10 Good
"Older cottage. Very homey and laid back. Only real downside is that it is hard to find location using gps for local directions. GPS takes you on the wrong road. Cell phone coverage in the immediate area is bad. Had to drive back out of area to get cell coverage. Stopped at the Venture Inn to get directions. They were very helpful. There is a little shed like structure about 1-1.5 miles from Venture Inn on the road to turn down to reach the community.Cottage needs some TLC. WiFi in cottage was not strong. Only 2 of the bedrooms (master and the other one upstairs) take advantage of the air conditioning. Master has air conditioner and main floor has an inside floor air conditioner, that is not adequate for the cottage in our opinion. Fans provided are not adequate to use the other 'bedrooms'. Several other inside porch areas, not heated nor air conditioned. Screen-in back porch has a limited view of creek/dock due to overgrown vegetation. Yard leading to the dock is on a slight down hill slope without a adequate walkway. The dock on the creek out back was major plus for out 10 year old grandson, who caught fished and boated. He enjoyed it immensely. No boat provided. We bought an inflatable boat at Walmart. A boat of some sort with the cottage would have been nice. We are an older couple with our grandson, so the hiking and trails were not used, but the area is famous for that. Overall, for a place in the woods by the creek, it was good."
