"Fantastic location, staff were extremely friendly and helpful upon checking in. We had a cosy sea view room which was clean. Bathroom was clean, however was really small. Lots of choices for breakfast, from a full English, fruit, cereal and pastries. Bar area was relaxing. It is only card payments when buying drinks from the bar."

The welcome was super friendly , the room lovely and clean, breakfast was amazing with wait lovely staff and the views were incredible. Sitting in the garden with a coffee was so serene . "We booked this hotel for 3 nights. The location is beautiful but quite remote. No shops so a car is needed. A lovely bar/restaurant with helpful staff, an amazing menu. Harry at reception is so helpful . If going for a cruise or into Windermere there is a card for 20% off-available from reception. A model village in the grounds . The room we had was a bit quirky but that did not bother us. There is a swimming pool, small gym and massage therapy. Would highly recommend for a few days away."

"Top quality hotel in a brilliant location, absolutely loved it here. We didn’t find a better bar to have a drink in or a better restaurant to eat in, all perfect… with a wonderful view over the lake too! The leisure facilities really helped too, the pool was a proper pool you could actually swim in! My only (very slight) observation might be that it did look a bit tired in places, with a bit of paint peeling off here and there."
