"When checking in I was already made to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable just because we were staying for a hockey tournament. The lady at the front desk made it out like my child would be loud and crazy just because of the fact that he was a hockey player. Not the feeling you want right away."

Wish the hot tub was larger to be able to accommodate more people. Our room was nice and clean, having a microwave and fridge was a bonus. Wish there were more electric outlet. Thank you north star for our wonderful stay. "

"Very nice hotel BUT extremely noisy and this is why overall rating is low. Why putting all this money into the renovations and not sound proof better. We stayed on the bottom floor beautiful room and view but it sounded like the family above us was going to come through the ceiling (shame on the parents no respect for other guests) I did call down to the front desk multiple times. We didn't get much sleep that night. We had to be up early for a tournament to. Pool was freezing and that part of the hotel is very outdated. I didn't eat there very expensive. Ordered pizza instead. "
