The place was clean, it could use some sprucing up, there is only one elevator working at this time which is understandable due to lightning, the tiles in the bathroom could be replaced, the safe didnt work, there was a light that didn't work, breakfast was the normal hotel breakfast but it was clean, they took most of the hot stuff off at 9a.m, on Sunday there wasn't much left at 9 as the place was full. The people at the desk was friendly and helpful, so, overall it is a good place to stay. Will we stay again, yes, we will and one other thing my husband didn't like was that there was no guide on the tv that told what was on tv at a given time, it gave you channels, but no shows that was available.

I would like to give this property an unequivocal 5 stars ... our room was spacious and comfortable (with an amazingly comfortable bed) and the bathroom well-supplied with towels and products (including bar soap!). Breakfast was excellent and the hotel is wonderfully situated to easily visit everywhere in the Black Hills. However, upkeep could have been better. We stayed for 5 nights and during the entire time, one elevator was out of service. In addition, one of the two dryers was broken. That being said, we still would DEFINITELY stay here again.

Excellent stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our visit. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

For the money, I doubt you'll find a better place to stay. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is hot/good and the hotel is located near decent restaurants and not far from all the major attractions (Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, etc.). Definitely recommend this place.

The room was clean. The housekeeping staff did a good job keeping the room neat and clean. The air conditioning did not work well and the room was cold despite increasing the room temperature. The breakfast was hearty. The hotel staff were courteous and friendly.

The majority of subjects related to the hotel were great. I would only say the breakfast was kind of limited. The hotel was full so I imagined that was a contributing factor. I noticed the AC was turning off while the room was still hot so I had to turn it down to 60 degrees. I’m assuming the thermostat is/was faulty but other than that the room was great. They allowed me to stay with my three dogs which is rare. I really appreciated that. The key entry to the hotel was kind of faulty as well. Got locked outside of the hotel twice because of it. It’s close to the city so I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.

Overall clean and nice stop on our journey. Only complaint was the swimming pool area seemed to have a lot of water damage and rust, maybe? But the kids still had fun splashing around in the pool.
