"This home was absolutely amazing! My only disappointment was the weather and the condition of the ocean and the air. Apparently, I was told, they are burning fires in Mexico and also Belize has a lot of fires burning as well, so the air was thick with smoke and haze. It stayed at around 90 degrees fahrenheit, day and night. There was no tide, no breeze, no relief from the heat, no access to the ocean from the property unless you have a boat. The beaches in town are polluted with sargassum and trash and most restaurants and shops do not have air conditioning. It was HOT and HUMID! The sky was grey, the ocean was grey, with limited visability due to the smog."

They serve a breakfast on the rooftop patio every morning which is delicious. Barbara and Evan went above and beyond to make our stay a very enjoyable one. Highly recommend this hotel. "

"The location within Placencia Village is perfect. The resort is on a beautiful beach and our ocean front room had a great view. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The security guard made us feel very comfortable. "

"This property is beautiful and very clean. The location is perfect. We enjoyed every part of the property. The pool, pier, kayaking, bicycling and the boat dock. A lot of fishing off that boat dock and searching for manatees. We were very exciting when we saw a couple of manatees! Love Placencia and Sunset Pointe!"
