Loved the location. I've stayed here many times previously in the past 5 years. But the hallway carpeting on the fourth floor is really worn to the point it's threadbare where the seams meet at numerous places in the hall, really giving it a dated look. Handtowel and washcloth were clearly dirty from someone having wiped their hands on it (and I was traveling alone and it wasn't me). I understand things like this happen, but for the amount of business this hotel gets on a regular basis you would think the carpeting would be replaced and updated.
