Stay in the heart of Durham in this cute bungalow duplex style home. Enjoy the large front porch and all the local eats. Walltown is an idyllic historic downtown neighborhood packed full of character and mature hardwood trees. Steps from some of the best restaurants and bars in town, the house is located just north of Duke's East Campus. Easy walking access to Duke campus, the Duke running path, and two other neighborhood favs: Monuts and Joe Van Gogh Coffee.. Dog fee $75 per stay. Max of 2 dogs.

This bungalow duplex has all the modern amenities provided to make your stay comfortable combined with vintage touches throughout. The 800 square foot space is situated in a duplex and it feels much bigger than its size would suggest. The fully equipped spacious kitchen has stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher. The bedroom has a queen size bed and a walk-in closet. The living room provides ample space for relaxing and also has a desk space for those that are here to work. We also provide complementary coffee/tea and wifi.

Full kitchen, laundry room, beautiful front porch.

I live in Durham and am available when by phone, text or in person when needed. If I am out of town, I always have someone to take over my duties.

This historic neighborhood is located just North of Duke's East Campus. Filled with mature foliage that includes block after block of hardwoods overhanging the streets.

Public transportation, Uber, electric scooter rental.

Dog fee $75 per stay, max of 2 dogs. Must be up to date on all shots and flea control. This house is a duplex and the other side is a renter as well.
No parties and no local bookings without checking with the owner first. Quiet time is from 10PM to 8AM.

No parties! A party will result in removal from the property w/ no refund. Guests required to sign rental agreement. Minimal renter age is 21 y.o.
Smoking in the home will result in a $400 fine. No local rentals allowed, unless approved by host. 3% CC surcharge on all bookings.
Driveway is shared, do not block! Dogs allowed $75/stay max 2 dogs(no cats). Quiet hours are between 10pm-8am.

Clean Stay

Old house and rejuvenated but clean. Served well for 2 nights. The place is a bit dim and dark. Quiet. Mattress needs replaced in my opinion. I would stay again.

Wonderful stay at Clarendon B bungalow. Nice neighborhood. Brought pups and they enjoyed the location for great walks. Met sons and were able to have dinner with them there. Great to have full + kitchen.

Place was so cute and close to Duke Medical school, which was our destination while in NC. Place was good for no more than 3 adults comfortably but will definitely stay again! Host was extremely communicative and responsive, which is huge when traveling to another state. Place was clean and easy to get Ubers or DoorDash dropped off.

Bungalow convenient to Duke

This property is really great. Very cozy and clean with an awesome front porch (we had coffee out there every morning). Perfect for our quick stay and close to Duke. The neighborhood is fantastic and walking distance to Broad St & Ninth St. Highly recommend for anyone & we will surely come back. Thank you!

Great little place!

Property was super clean and stocked with everything you would need. The property is an older home duplex but the finishes had a updated, modern feel. Host was quick to respond and reached out to make sure we had everything we needed. My only non-5 star goes to neighborhood/location, as it is in an older neighborhood downtown containing some renovated houses and some not (as is most of downtown Durham). We were close to everything and felt safe the entire time . Would rent here again. :)

Cute duplex 5 blocks from East campus

Cute and convenient place to stay when visiting Duke. Great to be able to bring our dogs and they loved the extra touches for them. Andrea was very responsive and accommodating!

Another great little place!

This is the third property of Andrea's that we have stayed at in the last month and like the others, it did not disappoint! Great use of space inside and our dogs always appreciate the special touches just for them.

Everything was clean and the place was very cozy, some blinds in the kitchen & front door would have been nice, and it got chilly in the living room and kitchen because the only source of heat/air is in the bedroom

Clean, comfortable, easy, and great location.

This bungalow was nearly perfect for a two-person stay. Everything went easily: communication with Andrea, access to the unit, on-street parking, check out. The bungalow was amazingly clean, well equipped, considerately stocked, and very comfortable (including the bed). Everything worked well. The street is quiet, but close to campus and amenities. The other unit in the duplex was empty our first two nights. When visitors showed up on the third day, we found that the people next door were quite audible through the walls, particularly in the living room and kitchen. Fortunately, the bedroom has a layer of closets between the units, so noise was less of an issue there. I would definitely rent anything managed by Andrea in the future.

Great stay

Great stay. Andrea was very helpful with any questions we had about the area. The house had everything we needed and was within a short drive to most things to do.
