"This is an historic and beautiful property, and ideal for a family group. The swimming pool is excellent and very secure. The area is quiet and peaceful and lends itself to a safe and relaxing holiday. The hosts are very accommodating and to have a local point of contact was very helpful. "A spacious base with a large garden that is not overlooked. Shade available in the garden and a choice of seating areas. The weather was hot when we were staying but we were able to close shutters and sleep in the downstairs bedroom which made it cool enough. Well equipped kitchen and very good oven and hob. "I was travelling with my elderly parents and my dog. The disabled parking bay was directly outside the main reception and our rooms were opposite each other also close to reception. All staff were very helpful and caring. Rooms were immaculate. Just a shame there were no refreshment facilities in the rooms. I would highly recommend this hotel. "
