The property was very clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was what I expected. The location is easy to find. Parking was tight, but that may be due to various events happening nearby. You can’t beat the price for all that’s included compared to nearby hotels.

Location was great for downtown with easy access to anywhere in Quincy Illinois. Quiet and secure parking lot. Hallways smelled a little like old cigarette smoke but not bad. Room was comfortable and clean.

We stayed here during a long road trip after spending nights at several Quality Inns and other hotels, so we had a good basis for comparison. Unfortunately, this was one of the less pleasant stays. The room had a strong Pine-Sol smell, and the hallway smelled heavily of marijuana. It was also disappointing to find that the guest laundry was no longer available, and the vending machines that were once on each floor have also been removed. The staff were friendly and courteous, and I don’t blame them for these issues. However, it seemed odd to have housekeeping knocking on our door at 9:00 a.m. when checkout wasn’t until 11:00 a.m. Overall, the property feels like it has declined from what it once was. With better upkeep and restored amenities, it could provide a much better guest experience. Can highly recommend Tiramisu for dinner: great food and excellent service. Can recommend Washland for your laundry.

The property is in downtown Quincy. Decorated for Fall and welcoming. The young lady who checked us in was very sweet so I would like to give her a five star rating. The room was great. However the bed sank in the middle but was not intolerable. We had a good nights rest. The breakfast was hot and fresh. Lots of choices. Here are my reasons for not giving the other staff a five star rating. At 8:30 AM a very loud knock came to our door. Scared me to death! It was housekeeping checking to see if we had left. Checkout was 11 and we had not yet been to breakfast!!! We went down for breakfast and there were two employees in the dining area talking things over. Neither one bothered to speak in any way. I felt like I was infringing on their space. We gathered our things after breakfast to check out. I mentioned to the man behind the counter that I was disturbed that housekeeping was knocking on our door at 8:30 AM. He proceeded to tell me that many people leave without checking out and if they waited for everyone it might be 8 at night before they discovered they had checked out. Was he saying no one would check if someone had not left by checkout time? He said they were fully booked for the next several days. HOWEVER,… there were very few people there the night we stayed. Maybe 15 cars in the parking lot. We were told it was fairly empty on the night we stayed. I really did not appreciate Matt’s response or attitude. Other than the employees … it was GREAT!

Quality room and hotel! I have stayed here a few times now and each time the room is spotless. Breakfast selections are also great. This time, I specifically want to mention Lane at the front desk who assisted when my reservation was missing. Thanks for a speedy resolution that allowed me to get checked in quickly and get to my room.
