Great view of the ocean from the porch. That alone made it worth the stay. It's also within walking distance to a bus stop. It is very basic. The beds are uncomfortable. The noise from the restaurant and bar next door can go on fairly late.

Great view of sea and sunset and we saw toucans and other birds from the large private patio. We had a large apartment with 2 rooms, spacious. Weird that it’s under the restaurant, but it was quiet and we slept well.

Good location. Air condition was good. Nice view and hostel shared kitchen from shared deck. Not super clean but maybe due to age of property. Overall a fine place to stay if you are looking to save some money near the National Park.

I stayed in a modern big apartment with a pool outside only for me and my neighbor's. A wonderful oceanview with sunset completed the experience. Clean and dark curtains to keep the sunshine out.

Nice views and the kitchen was convenient. Location was walkable to some stores and restaurants. On the negative, the beds were very saggy and the pillows terribly lumpy. There is no A/C in the main rooms (fortunately there is in the bedrooms). The fan was not working either - so very uncomfortable with 95 degree weather.

Super comfortable bed, awesome shower and great AC in the deluxe room. The view was so peaceful and amazing. Good amount of space for parking. Didn’t try the restaurant (looked overpriced and meh), but the people were nice. Not the “safest” for walking but not because of thieves, it’s because it’s literally located off a curve and it’s a little dark and hard for cars to see in either direction. But we walked and didn’t get hit (used our phone flashlights to let people know we were there.) I would stay here again! I MEGA recommend it. So close to everything and so comfortable

For the price, it’s a great place even though the mattresses and pillows have not been changed in years and linens barely stay in plays. It’s the views and the authentic tico charm that sells the place. Will always come back.

The place is great to explore the area! They gave us a great reception with lots of information and tips. The apartment was great, very well maintained and kitchen all equipped. Also allowed us to leave the bags and take a shower before traveling to our next destination. Super recommended 👍

Home Away from "Home"

This was such a wonderful place to stay. The view from the balcony are amazing, as are the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. The kitchen was also well stocked with supplies, which really came in handy, and I liked the German novel left by someone in the room.
