The home was exactly as advertised. Clean, well supplied comfortable. Many gathering spaces. If the weather were just a little bit warmer, it would be a great place to sit outdoors. The communication was top notch. The host was kind and considerate. I highly recommend this property.
We really enjoyed our stay in Quechee. The location is convenient. The accommodations were great; plenty of towels, toiletries provided in the bathrooms, extra sheets and blankets. It’s great having a dog friendly place to stay. We’ll definitely book again the next time we visit family in VT.
Great three night stay in a very quiet and secluded location. Minutes away from Woodstock and other points of interest. Long trail brewery is a short drive. Property was spacious and comfortable with a great sauna downstairs. Thank you!
I stayed with my girlfriends for a Dartmouth homecoming weekend. It was the most perfect cabin to come home to after the long days/nights. Enough space for the 4 of us to hang out together but also have privacy. It was modern yet cozy and super clean. About 20-25 min from campus. I would highly recommend this stay. Seamless check in and check out, no hassles. Thanks for making this a wonderful weekend!
Beautifully appointed home in serene, picturesque Vermont setting!!
Loved everything about this house from all the windows and a-frame style to how it fit so well on the land. Beautifully furnished and decorated with lots of comfy, cozy reading spots and plenty of space for the whole family. Big plus it had AC since we were there during the uncharacteristic heat/humidity this July! The sunroom was amazing with views of the gorgeous back yard and trees. Kitchen not large but so well appointed. Loved all the different levels and spaces just be aware there are plenty of stairs for anyone not super mobile would be a challenge. Also loved the den and tv down in the basement for teen to have space to chill and do his thing while others on the main floor living area. Would love to go back in winter when we can use the gas logs stove and get cozy on the comfy sunroom couch once more!
We loved the multi level funky 70’s layout. We loved the surrounding peaceful woods. Space to run dogs out back. We loved multiple sitting rooms to spread out (although the finished basement area is a bit musty so not great for folks with allergies just fyi). The solarium room is beautiful to be in- talking- reading etc.,
Kitchen and bathrooms are updated and nice. Kitchen is not huge but fine for two couples. Nice big dining room table and back deck eating space.
The beds seem new and are VERY firm. Bedding is nice. (Cotton!) Towels are nice! But could use more hooks for hanging them and a soap dish in master bathroom. Unfortunately the master bathroom window was broken… assuming they’ll be replacing that window which seems important.
Kitchen had pretty much everything we needed (no veggie peeler, olive oil or tinfoil but we left tinfoil behind.) Bring more paper towels and TP.
The new Mini splits/AC were not hooked up yet but luckily there was only one hot day while there.
Some windows didn’t have screens (but others did so we could open enough for air flow).
The layout and hardwood floors make it impossible to be quiet so your group should be on the same general schedule. Early risers will make noise no matter how quiet they try to be. Hallway & stair carpets would help a little. Its possible the owners are going to put them in?
Overall we enjoyed staying here!
The house is great! Exactly as it looks in pictures. Our family had a nice week long stay. The host was very easy to work with - very clear communication and easy check in. We don’t have any issues. My only comment about the house is that it is very vertical (lots of interior stairs), so anyone with mobility issues or small kids should be aware.
House set up very nice for spending time with family. Fire pit and sauna were an added bonus. The beds were very uncomforable. Other than that it was close to a local market and to Woodstock which suited our needs. Suggest better mattresses and remove the plastic coverings...
