The kids room with the candy is an excellent idea! My niece loved it! The pool area was beautiful. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Even the scent of the hallways was very nice. I have nothing but great things to say about this resort! Will definitely stay again!

Great stay overall! The room was very comfortable, with a cozy bed, cooling sheets and pillows, and A/C that worked perfectly. The breakfast buffet was good, and the staff were very kind and helpful. The only downside was that there was nothing in the room to drink or snack on, even for purchase—not even a bottle of water. For a 5-star hotel, I think complimentary bottled water should be the minimum. I still would recommend.

Staff provided very good services. The garden with a pond is a beautiful addition to the property. The quality of the dinner was unexpectedly high. The salmon that we had was among the best that we have had. Another order of tataki salad was served with very fresh ingredients and was really very tasty. We would highly recommend this hotel.

All was good but make sure you make reservations for breakfast as you'll need to wait for a table. They said we would need to wait 1 hour(was 10:30), we decided to check out and eat elsewhere.

This is an absolutely beautiful property. The grounds, the pool, the hot tub - fantastic. There are hammocks, picnic tables, plenty of seating outdoors. The hotel itself has so much potential. We were in the part of the hotel that used to allow smoking and unfortunately the smell remained. The hotel was fully booked so they could not move us, but they were attentive to our concern and provided air freshener. The room itself was enchanting, with a cute layout for kids and it was very spacious and comfortable. A reno on this room, including removing the old carpet and drapes, would make it absolutely spectacular. The fitness area was also amazing. Lots of equipment and space divided over two rooms. Smoothies and little snacks were provided post-workout. The hotel is conveniently located and has lots of easy, free parking. We did not use the restaurant, but it looked lovely. Staff were helpful. This hotel, with a refresh, would be absolutely amazing. I would go again, but specifically request to be in the side of the hotel that has always been non-smoking.

While the outdoor spa and grounds at Hotel Le Bonne Entente were clean and enjoyable, the overall experience did not reflect the premium price tag. Front desk service was sluggish, often leading to recurring lineups and long wait times just to check in. Our room was noticeably dated, featuring an older thermostat that made temperature control frustrating, a bathtub without a proper showerhead stand, and no dedicated towels readily available for the hot tub without having to call down. Dinner service was equally poor, despite few guests and roughly six servers on duty, drink orders took far too long, and we were told the kitchen was closed even while fresh food continued to be brought out to other tables. With expensive nightly rates plus additional parking and resort fees, the slow service and dated amenities simply do not justify the cost.

Robert very helpful on arrival the check in was quite satisfactory. Warning they do not have elevator but will assist with your bags . My reservation was for a king bed , we did not get that but the bedding was lovely, the bed itself not so comfortable. Stiff back by second night . Also a beverage credit was not applied as per my reservation . The restaurant was fine we ate dinner both nights and enjoyed both. Our server was Marykim who provided excellent service . We did not use pool or spa , both looked nice. From the hotel it’s a $30 dollar uber to Old Quebec and was easy to Uber . Parking is $20 per night and resort fees $30 per night. Parking is secure and safe . This is a peaceful hotel in a nice residential neighbourhood.

It is a beautiful hotel with a very clean pool and jacuzzi, beautiful restaurant and lobby Dinner was very good, good flavor, but portions were tiny. Almost dietary and very pricy. Breakfast brunch was amazing; lots to choose from, excellent presentation and good flavor. The service was excellent, very kind staff. However, we were extremely disappointed with the look and condition of the carpet all over the facility and in our bedroom. Really ragged, stained, ripped in some areas and very dirty specially in the room. We found hairs in the shower, one of the rolls of toilet paper was almost finished, so they gave us the same one from previous guests instead of giving us a new roll. We reserved the business room but the condition of the doors, old bathroom and terrible carpet didn’t make us feel like working in there. The pad left for notes had also been used, it hardly had any pages left. It is very important to consider those details; when new guests arrive to the bedroom, everything should be new. The handle was broken, the door very old and peeled. They need to do a lot of maintenance, renovations and better cleaning inside the rooms looks like. Pretty noisy at night from people talking outside the bedroom and heard their steps above and next to us. Overall beautiful hotel, excellent breakfast and staff, but very disappointed with carpets and bedroom.

We recently stayed at Le Bonne Entente and came away feeling that it falls well short of the advertised 5-star, 4-diamond standard. In our opinion, it is closer to a solid 4-star property. There were definitely positives. The lobby and restaurant have a charming atmosphere, the food throughout our stay was very good, and the property has a pleasant overall setting. Unfortunately, the accommodations and service did not match the hotel’s luxury reputation. The Cocooning rooms were surprisingly small, dark, dated, and in need of renovation. The outdoor areas, including the pool and jacuzzi, were enjoyable but showed signs of age and deferred maintenance. Service was inconsistent. At the MC Lounge, one member of our party waited more than 20 minutes for her meal after everyone else had been served, and no apology was offered. On another morning, we waited over 30 minutes for breakfast without being served. To the hotel’s credit, the manager handled the situation professionally and removed the breakfast charge. We also found the staff’s overall approach to be less accommodating than expected. While a few employees were excellent, many interactions felt abrupt. For example, the hotel has a volleyball court, but when we asked to borrow a volleyball, the front desk searched and informed us they didn’t have one available, which seemed like a missed opportunity for a resort of this caliber.

I booked on Expedia. It did not specify that there was no shower and ONLY a bathtub. Nothing like bathing like it's the 1800s. The room fridge was broken, kept drinks at a warm temp, which was unpleasant. The shade in the room was broken so we had to stand on the couch to manually roll it down and up. My robe had someone else's crusted food on it. The AC unit was so loud. I guess we did not need a noise machine. The spa was great, excellent massages. The hot tub and pool were clean and lovely. You have to pay for parking which Expedia also did not mention, $20 per day.

Such a beautiful hidden gem. Not close to downtown but also not on top of the airport. Quiet, secluded. Great hot tub and pool area. The restaurant is amazing. Kudos to the chef. Really felt like we were at a spa or resort.

Full disclosure this property was in the midst of renovations for the upper floors/rooms. Our room was clean albeit dated— would akin it to the hotel from ‘the shining’ minus the twins. Amenities were also dated (hot tub) but the lobby was spectacular and clean! A happy surprise: the food was definitely the highlight. The staff was also fantastic. Dinner was definitely 10/10 with a great wine selection as well.
