Over the weekend, we drove up to the hotel from the States and it was better than I expected. Despite arriving late at night, tired, underdressed, with a dirty car covered in snow, dirt, and salt, the staff was beyond welcoming. Vallet took our car in the garage (nice guy, think his name was J.P.) and we were able to check in quickly to the Luxury room we booked. As soon as we entered, we noticed they had left some soft jazz music playing which added a romantic ambiance to an already elegant room. I couldn't think of anything we needed as all the amenities were there: mini-bar, robes and slippers, phone charging station, to name a few. But what stood out was the heated bathroom floors. Wish I had those floors at home. We roamed the city for most of our stay but reverted back to the comfort of the room when the weather got rough. On our last day, we had a delicious breakfast at the hotel's friendly Chez Muffy's before heading out. Again, the staff was serviceable as they brought our car out and loaded our luggage during a Sunday morning snowstorm. I truly dreaded leaving not because of the snow but because I wanted to stay longer. Overall the hotel and the staff were excellent, so much that we plan on returning in the summer.
