The property overall was pleasant the main problem was the three flights of steep stairs to negotiate with luggage. Not suitable for older people. Difficult to check in, confusing not enough signage and staff disinterested and only French speaking. No offers to assist.

The hotel is great! The parking issue is suboptimal. I was a solo traveler and a female and I felt safe. I went to dinner at The Continental Restaurant right down the street. I tried the Foie Gras seared. It was the best thing I have ever eaten in my life!! 😀

Great location for walking. Hot breakfast included at the sit-down restaurant next door. They allowed us to store our bags all day until the room was ready and even gave us an early check-in. Fantastic Italian restaurant one block away.

It was a good stop for us. Free breakfast comfortable bed and quiet cool air con in hot humid summer day in a very convenient location. Parking could not be near by in street parking or underground. Because of other review read previously I thought no hot water and had a cool shower. But as my wife told me turn clock wise is hot water although tap says left is hot. So silly me. Remember hot water is on the right. You could hear people thru door and upper floor when they get up early and move around but that’s OK. Location, bed and air con that’s all I need.

This was a horrible experience for my husband and I. There is no parking, expect a 15 min walk with your luggage no elevator in the garage. No in the hotel. You check in at a different location than the hotel. Our room was on the 4the floor. The room itself you couldn’t swing a cat in. Half of the room my husband couldn’t stand up. The pillow cases on the bed looked like they hadn’t been changed. If you were sitting or laying on the bed and your partner opened the door you or anyone would have full view of your room. The pictures on the website are no where near the state of this hotel. It is a great location to access and experience old Quebec.

Staff was nice and kind. Area is amazing! Breakfast included was definitely a plus. But the room I got did not look like the one on the photos, it looked a lot darker and older and There was mold in the bathroom. The hallways and rooms were a bit smelly.

We had no knowledge of lack of parking. Once that was figured out the hotel was nice. Only issue we had was bathroom door would get stuck and person on out side would have to hit top of door to open. I realize old building but fix the door

Great location and quite delicious breakfast included Drawbacks: no elevator, no parking nor nearby, older building which is part of the charm but older carpet in stairs and hallways, and older washrooms but functional. Very quiet room on 4th floor and air conditioning works well.

Worst hotel experience ever.First of all it started with a location, there was no front desk as mentioned in reservation there would be someone present to help us check in, no one was present. we paid for the parking and couldn’t find the spot for 30 mins. Called the front desk agent, rude and arrogant. Why do you even hire such people with no hospitality? We called for help and direction, he denied to come over and help us. Somehow managed to find the parking spot. Another horrible thing, no elevators in the building. I had to explain him that my friend is pregnant and couldn’t make it up to 3rd floor and if he can change it to ground or anything better available. He had no response to that. Rooms were too small for the price we paid and lights were not working. Front desk didn’t picked up our call (called thrice). Overall worst experience ever. I will never recommend it. Hope it gets better for future guests
